The Mother of Dragons is working the oddest little melange of styles.

Emilia Clarke makes an appearance on the ‘Late Show With David Letterman’ in NYC wearing Tabitha Simmons sandals.

The hair, makeup and jacket all have a rockabilly vibe to them, the dress says Swingin’ ’60s London and the shoes are total “Sex and the City.”

And y’know? It’s adorable. It really works for her. We don’t think we’ve ever seen her look so cute. We also don’t think this look would work for a majority of starlets.

It is an unexpected pair up of things that seems to work for her. My only question, did she keep that jacket on? Cause that’s a lot of WHITE for a sit down interview.

I’d say it’s the dress that pulls it all together. Even obscured by the jacket, it has me convinced that it (the dress) has A Good Cut.

For me, it works because it is black and white. Done in any other color, even all black or all white, I don’t think it would work.

The weather has been so crazy in NY. 50s one day, 20s the next…She probably had no idea what to wear, like the rest of us. But she did great. Can’t wait to see her in Breakfast at Tiffany’s!

I think the shoes and jacket go together, and the dress does not belong there. This is not fashion. It’s pulling what’s left in her closet, because tomorrow is laundry day.

Nice fun outfit. Imagine what her feet look like after taking off those shoes though! Her face looks odd to me – who has under-eye circles halfway down their face? And I can’t with the heavy brows.
