January’s come into her own as a red carpet presence, but we think we’ll always love her most for perfecting a look that suits her like no other:

How odd to have her fists clenched in every shot as she leaves a salon. No matter how long its been since the manicure, same day I’m usually walking around with flattened palms and outstretched fingers, just in case.

She really does have the Mean Girl face down.

  I had the same reaction. I wouldn’t do anything with my hands anything for hours. Then I had a gel manicure! The polish is so hard when you leave, you can’t believe it and can’t stop touching to test it and feel it because it’s so smooth. Maybe she had one of those.

      It’s amazing. It still feels so weird to me to be able to dig into my purse for my car keys minutes after a manicure and not ruin anything.

  Also, those shoes are not pedicure friendly. At all. The ladies in my local salon would probably force me into those disposable flip flops before letting me put booties like those on immediately after a pedicure!

That is some crazy body language. Look at those thumbs tucked into her fists. That’s a very defensive gesture, a please don’t look at me gesture. Yet she’s dressed like she was expecting the paps and displaying the bag like she’s supposed to. Very weird.
