Miss Hailee looks fresh and pretty:

“I love Prabal Gurung [...] I remember sitting in the front row to watch his show at fashion week and the music came on and all these gorgeous clothes had such a message. All these strong-willed women—holding their own—walking down his runway looked as gorgeous as ever. I walked away feeling like that’s what I’d feel like when I would put his clothes on.”

“I think the second I get wrapped up in how to be a role-model, that’s when things may go wrong, At the end of the day after I finish work or school, I go home and I do everything that a normal teenager has to do. I’m really no different.”

Really no different, except for the part about wearing Lanvin on the cover of a fashion magazine.

This is a nicely sophisticated way to dress a fairly young starlet. It’s bold and fun, youthful and cool, but not super-trendy or too sexy. It’s just chic and eye-catching without being serious about it. Nice choice.

There’s nothing overtly sexual or inappropriate about this dress, it’s just not what I think is the best representation of style or fashion for a girl (very young woman, if you will) who just turned 16. I’d like to see her in something a little more youthful, a dress that actually goes with the very long teenager hair.

She looks wonderful here – and like herself which is a nice trick for a cover. I don’t know if they gave her a longer skirt or it is just that she is shorter, but I am really glad we are not seeing thighs.

  It must be that she’s shorter because there are three white bands on both dresses.
  I’m guessing that you don’t have to be Photoshopped much at her age, which is why she looks like herself.

  There are four in post-production but only one of them is scheduled for release this year – supposedly Ender’s Game will release in November. The rest may or may not make it to the big screen.

Love the dress, and can I just say, I am so excited for Gurunug’s Target collection.

She is really spectacular. Recently on this site there was a post about her in which some people commented that she hasn’t done anything since True Grit. She has some movies coming up, but in thinking about why she hasn’t done any movies in the last 2 years it occurred to me that it would have been very difficult to cast her in age-appropriate roles since she seems so sophisticated. To put her in a movie playing a child would not have worked, and to cast her as a young adult would have been inappropriate. Now she has aged into herself, and I think we will be seeing a lot of her. I hope she has a brilliant career.

Maybe it’s the model’s stiff pose, but I think Hailee looks better in this outfit than the model. Also, she’s standing still but she has wind in her hair! It looks great.

That dress is gorgeous in navy and white.
She looks wonderful – it’s a sophisticated dress for someone so young, but it doesn’t read like she’s trying too hard,
it doesn’t look harsh or sexed-up; it’s just cool. I think as long as she mixes it up with things that ARE youthful – she’s doing it well.

I love this dress, but I’m pretty sure my body (specifically, the backside) would not look so good it in! Great cover though.
