Oscars 2013: Eddie Redmayne in McQueen

Third picture made me laugh out loud. He looks like he was in the middle of doing “Blue Steel”.

Is his hair auditioning for One Direction?

I would normally like that hairstyle, but not so much on the red carpet.  Bed head looks good with a hoodie and jeans, but not with a tuxedo.

He looks like dork. Hate his hair.

Gih.  That hairstyle is officially known as “pulled-through-a-fence-backward.”

I hate those slipper shoes. On anyone. Hate.

His hair is also deluded, in my opinion. Tux is fine, but if I saw it clearly enough, I preferred the jacket he wore on stage. 

But really, he’s on my list of the intrinsically adorable. (And his girlfriend’s dress was darn good – - better than many of the nominees.)

Doesn’t he always look as though he is about to say something that would make you want to smack him?

TLo once referred to him as a “goofus”. I think that pretty much sums it up.

Now I remember who Eddie Redmayne reminds me of–Tin Tin! I remember him fondly.

He will never be seen on the RC without stuffing his hands in his pockets, or without five pounds of pomade in his hair. Dear boy, try changing it up in both posture and grooming. Your five seconds in the spotlight are about to expire. [Side note: is the woman to the right of him in the red gown wearing a bedazzled fanny pack? I know PR flacks work on the fringes of the RC to direct & assist their clients, but I think there's a bit better way to carry emergency gear than this.]

The hair! AAAGGGGHHHH! Seriously, what’s with that hair. It’s like it’s got a mind of its own.

There’s something about Eddie.

It’s kind of pathetic that I had to go visit this post and the Daniel Day-Lewis post because TLo haven’t had time to post any of the men (yes, in their relatively boring tuxedos and in the rare and usually lame attempts to be ‘different’ with the tuxedo).

And even worse – rather nervy, indeed – that I’m whining about it, here on the best post-Oscars blog.

But, so it is.

I refer to Eddie as my secret boyfriend, and would love to give him tiny kisses on each one of his freckles; however, did the Bitter Kittens see Aaron Tveit (AKA Enjolras) on the RC?  Boy freaking brought it!  He was a boy WERQ for sure!
