Great. The dress suits her, the colors are excellent with her skin, and she kept the styling fairly simple. Makeup’s a little off but that’s a piddling complaint. Who cares about the slit? So many designers are doing it, it’s a “thing.” At least it looks good on her.

Other than the really high slit that makes her look like she’s trying too hard, I actually love this. I love the fabric and how alive it looks. God, the woman is still gorgeous, and I love the dress on her. I’m one who believes that if you can still rock a revealing dress, why the hell not? However, Halle has been showing so much skin lately that it’s starting to come across as desperate. There’s something about the way the bodice is fitted on her that makes it look more point-y than the runway model. Also, in the runway model, you get of a feeling of the fiery movement of the print when the leg is less prominent. A more subtle showing of this dress would have been appreciated, and would have garnered more huzzahs from the BKs.
