Dylan McDermott for August Man Magazine

We’re feeling the need for some MAN ’round these parts, kittens.

‘American Horror Story’ star Dylan McDermott covers the January 2013 issue of August Man magazine photographed by Boon and styled by Chia Wei Choong.

That’ll do just fine.

Don’t get us wrong; it’s the standard Blue Steel guyditorial. But come on, if there’s a guy out there tailor-made for the Blue Steel, it’s Mr. Dylan.

Although we could’ve skipped the unbuttoned shirt with medallions in that last shot. That’s a bit much, in a “Soft Rock Hits of the Seventies” kind of way.

Is it just me, or does he look like he’s been photoshopped within an inch of his life? It’s a shame because I think he looks fantastic now – every single (faint) crease and line included. He looks dreamy in these photos, but he also looks like a Madame Tussauds version of himself. I’m disappointed.

Unfortunately his character in AHS season 1 ruined any attractiveness I might have seen in him. Especially that one scene (the one crying, looking out the window-UGH). I still want to B-slap that character and say “MAN UP!”
