I can actually see it. Quite a few of these are very similar to the Zuhair Murad she wore recently, and she was big on the sheer skirt trend in the beginning.

I’m not loving this. Much of it seems awkward and ill-fitting to me and since the house of Dior certainly knows how to fit, I can only assume this is intentional. Plus there’s enough split personality dresses to keep Julianne Moore clothed for the whole season. Am I missing something here?

Hit or miss. I like a few of these. The black and white stripe in the third row is dramatic and flattering. Many of the white numbers look like unusually long hospital gowns.

“Hit or miss” is exactly the phrase that came to my mind. Some very ugly sleeves and necklines, and some really insufferable ugliness, as if the designer took a pair of scissors to the hemline. And yet, some really gorgeous, swoony pieces.

I really love that top look although I don’t know why since I’m not even remotely girly. I also like the shoes a lot — I can’t tell from any of the pictures what kind of heel they have, but they don’t look like stilts (which is all good in my book).

I have to say…not loving it…AT ALL. The only look I responded to in any sort of positive way is the 3rd panel, left – and I don’t totally love it. Not a fan of all the playing with volume or the styling of many of the looks. The textiles are beautiful, of course, just not crazy about what’s being done with them. Big old miss for me.

I actually thought the model had caught the skirt of the yellow gown on something before she hit the runway, and it tore horizontally, with no time to fix it. The fact that it’s deliberate disturbs me.

There is a lot here I love, but not wild about the silhouettes of some. I’m especially in love with the first black cocktail dress with the chartreuse leaves and the sleeveless gown with the chartreuse and pink flowers. And the strapless black confetti dress two away from that. J’adore.

In some of these looks, I’m just too distracted by the tights/shoes (coral in the 2nd row; chartreuse in the 4th row, etc.) What’s going on there? Is that an all-in-one shoe with tights attached? It wouldn’t be the first time it’s been done, but it’s usually more obvious. Could it be separate tights and mules, and the front of the mules are just very small? There are a lot with that look, but when it’s all black (1st row), it looks like they probably just wore black tights & black shoes. But not with the coral or the chartruese legs.
The clothes? There are a few awkward pieces, but overall, gorgeous! Especially the gown with the stripes in the 3rd row.

There are some truly beautiful dresses this time around. But there are a lot more odd (as opposed to unique) and unflattering outfits, with a lot of repetition. The fit seems off too, but it’s difficult to imagine how some of those dresses are supposed to fit anyway. And some of those embroideries look like parasites from a sci-fi movie.

My sons’ favorite TV show is Adventure Time. I’m envisioning a time…20 years into the future…when at some geek wedding the bride will walk down the aisle wearing a Finn hat…much like the hoods in this show. It will be lovely and I will cry geek tears of joy.

Until then, I would applaud if some famous bride would allow for colorful flowers to adorn her blindingly white wedding dress.

Eh. Some of the dresses I loved, but overall this is a bit of a hot mess. Especially when you hit around row five and start to see some of the unflattering silhouettes with the random fabric tacked on to look like flowers. I think that there are also some very odd color combinations that aren’t working for me, such as the dresses that are on the third row up from the bottom.

Fourth row up from the bottom, the brown dress with the yellow dots and the navy dress with multi-colored dots, I can totally see Emmy Rossum in either of those although I think the navy dress needs straps like the brown dress. Love the length on the brown dress too. Both are gorgeous to my eyes.
