I’m just relieved the stylist didn’t attempt to sexualize the scene in any way. Too many shoots manage to infantilize and sexualize the models at the same time and it creeps me out. I’ll take Bizarro World Donnie Darko over sexy kid themes any day!

This set is fabulous. I love a shoot with so much care put into every detail- it could overshadow the clothes but I think reflecting elements from the clothes in the set works really well to emphasise the prints in them.

They did an outstanding job of making the model’s eyes look exactly like the eyes of one of my early ’60s dolls – my favorite eyes of all of my dolls, as they were the most realistic, opened & closed and had very brilliant blue and realistic irises.

(What? I was supposed to have a thought about the clothes?)

I don’t care about the shoot one way or another from a stylistic point of view, but there are two things I liked:
1. From far away, some of the flower clusters in the wallpaper look like rabbits mid-scamper.
2. ALL OF THE JEWELRY. And the accessories in general. I need them in my life.
