Hugh Jackman Gets His Star

We’d like to have a meaningful discussion about the shininess of Hugh’s suit and whether or not it was a good idea to wear brown suede boots with it, but let’s face it:

Hugh Jackman honored with star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

You’re all staring at his thighs and thus, any chance for meaningful conversation has left the building.

I wanted to enjoy his thighs and gorgeous face (is that too much to ask?), but the shiny suit, scruff, boots, and crap in his pants pockets were all major distractions. grrr. Poor choices on his part for such a momentous occasion. At least the last photo is flattering…

  Hate the cell phone or whatever it is that looks like a growth on his right leg. Of course, it took me four viewings for my eyes to focus on anything as I was imagining ……sorry, got distracted again.

I have always wondered why, when they get one of these stars, they kneel in front of it and put their hands on it. Do they confuse this with that sidewalk with the handprints in wet cement? And he’s being photobombed by Jay Leno, which seems a little surreal, but then I’m not a celebrity so what do I know?

  why is he posing like that? did he personally affix the star to the sidewalk? that being said, he still seems like the most genuine,sincerely nice guy in Hollywood (the fact that he is godly handsome doesn’t hurt either)

    Judging by one of the middle pictures it looks like he might push the star into place? It looks like it’s setting on the sidewalk in that picture, but is settled in place in the others. Not really sure though, I am confused by the pose and distracted by his glorious presence. ::fans self::

I can’t be mad. He is just so handsome and rugged and rrawr. And it absolutely helps that he is (seemingly) such a good guy and devoted husband/dad. I mean, what isn’t to like? Even in a shiny suit!

Perhaps things have changed, but my recollection is that British and Aussie men seem to wear shiny suits on a regular basis- even those whose suits are bespoke.

Oh well. We have to contend with the thighs. One thing about shiny suits is that they make thigh scrumptiousness stand out nicely.
