Let’s close out the week with something glittering, shiny and fabulous, shall we? The Prada Resort 2013 ad campaign will do nicely, we think. Have a fabulous weekend, dripping with accessories and attitude, darlings!

  I’m not sure about disturbing (although, yes, that ceiling is awfully low) but mostlyI don’t think it’s a very successful campaign. The eye makeup isn’t flattering and doesn’t look right with everything else. A lot of the clothes and accessories don’t go together. Plus, the modeling isn’t so good. Other than that, though. . . .

I really like the first and last bags, but I had such a negative reaction to how this is all put together I had to scroll through a couple of times before I even saw them. It’s all a bit more challenging than I need.

I think the dresses might have a beautiful simplicity, could one see them on an upright model. (I’m sure I can go surfing and find, but not now.) The shoes are lovely for this shoot. Philistine that I am, Prada purses rarely send me and these do not.

As for the rest, well I have decided that Prada is just an idea-factory and it’s not about whether one actually likes or not (usually I do not) it’s about what filters down & how. More so, I mean, than even the typical fashion house. This reminds me of the ’70s but they’ve made it theirs more than usual. I foresee many tragic, extremely tragic, hideously, horribly cheap-looking knock offs of the gew-gaws. Because to me, even the originals look cheap-ish.

And legions of sad racoon-eyed teenagers & young women if that eye makeup is a trend.

there’s a alien atmosphere that come off those shots. I blame the wide eyes/open mouth and heavy make yp combo.
I find good only the last shot. The model doesn’t look so much unreal.
Well, I can’t stand open mouth models. I agree that parting lips relaxes the jaws and so soften the face, but it makes most models look heavily stupid and that not something I like to see.
Other than that, the bags are cute but the jewellery’s to heavy.
