I…really like it. I think her hair looks fabulous, though perhaps kinda young for her. I know everyone makes fun of the side braid thing, and I’ll admit that they’re very silly, but I still love them when the hair is well styled.

The dress is hilarious. It looks like it was going so well, met with a last minute accident, got laced onto the runway, and then stolen by Heidi. Beautiful fabrics and textures, ridiculous lacing.

Still, Heidi’s body looks amazing and this is a total headturner, which is I suppose the purpose of this look. It’s so ridiculous it almost loops back into fabulous. Someone on Facebook posted “Gianni is looking down and thinking ‘it’s a little much’”. I’m thinking back to Elizabeth Hurley’s safety pin dress, and even though there was a lot of skin showing, it didn’t cross the line into vulgar. This, to me, is vulgar.

As for the shoes – they do appear to be the one’s paired with the dress on the runway. And what is “too much” when you already have that body busting loose from that dress? I think they are the PERFECT shoe for the dress. Over the Top Tacky seems to be what that dress requires. A demure metallic strappy sandal would just be a disappointment.

The best I can say is there is a time and place for everything; almost. This would be the place for such a costume, and Heidi does
