Hey, remember when we said we had some not-so-pretty in the pipeline for today? Well, brace yourselves, poodles.

Diane Kruger attends the GQ Men of the Year Party at Chateau Marmont in Los Angeles, California in a Cushnie et Ochs dress and a Vanessa Bruno jacket paired with a Jason Wu clutch and Jimmy Choo shoes.

In bright neon letters, flashing over her head: “FASHION VICTIM.”

We try never to say this sort of thing, preferring to appear open-minded about all types of fashion, but that is one seriously fucked-up dress. And the shame of it all is, if it was a simple white dress, this look would be fabulous. We love the jacket, shoes and fun little bag. But we can’t with that bodice. Girl, you look damn silly right now.

This is a difficult dress for anyone to wear. So why on earth would her stylist allow her to attempt wearing this dress? Also, if some person came up with a pair of scissors and snipped that string that hooks skirt to top, WHOOSH, it would be all over but the shouting. Finally – the hair. Sigh.

Tip to stylist: if the skirt looks wonky on the runway model, you can bet the farm it’s going to look wonky on your client. This is a massive fail on someone who usually has a winning look. Whiffed it!

MY EYES!!!! a Rhianna belly chain translated to terrible stringy self-fabric, barely holding up a skirt so ill-fitting it’s a crime in and of itself. It looks like tired, tortured design school student fug even on a professional model. Add the pinhead yoga class hair and the fact that there’s no color on her face at all save for an orange-y lipstick that’s taking over the world, and it’s so far out it is in a different solar system.

That’s a whole lot of fugly. The dress is hideous. It looks both too big and too short. The bag looks childish with this look. Makeup is fine, but the hair looks like an afterthought. The jacket just feels out of place.

I actually think her hair is not so bad here. When she wears it up she often wears it skinned back really tight, and with her blond hairline and enormous forehead she looks pretty much hairless. Here, the sweep from the part and those little wispy bits soften her somewhat severe face. But, oh yeah, the dress sucks.

Wow, I can’t imagine what happens when you’re getting dressed in this getup. Is that really a drawstring that ties around the neck? I disagree: I love that dress and I think the shoes look cheap. But does it really need to be said that it’s not a dress for November? That would be a lovely little resort dress to toss on with some simple sandals after a day of swimming, head off for some oysters and wine.
