Yeah, he’s anything but a douche. Joss pushed him for Thor, getting him a call-back when his original audition hadn’t gone anywhere. They were shooting Cabin in the Woods (and by then, Joss knew he’d be doing Avengers, even if it wasn’t official at that point), and the tiny ginger genius does NOT set himself up to work long-term with pain-in-the-arse actors.

Yeah … weird huh? GQ put out four covers, these guys and RiRi. Of course, they all got to keep their clothes on and she was naked with a leather jacket thrown over her shoulders.

But they really need to fire their graphics person, because all of these shots look badly photoshopped. Everybody’s proportions were way off — hands the wrong size, shrunken heads, etc.

I was just thinking the same thing about Affleck, he is definitely more interesting-looking now than he used to be – less bland. Hemsworth might be douchy but he’s just so nice to look at and listen to, I don’t really care! Tatum is just blah, cookie-cutter generic Hollywood good-looking – let’s check back in 10 years. And that is one weird photo, he doesn’t look like he’s got a neck and his head just looks hugely out of proportion to his body, like some sort of garden gnome!

My reaction is completely the opposite of you guys. Going strictly by these photos alone, I say:

1. Channing looks like the douchiest douche in Doucheville. I wanna smack that “Hey baybee, wanna meet a movie star?” smirk off his face with a nightstick.

2. Hemsworth looks serious and in control of his masculinity, like he knows he doesn’t need to work it. The worst I can say about his look here is that this picture wouldn’t look even a tiny bit out of place on a romance novel cover. He looks beautiful and masculine at the same time.

3. Affleck looks a lot better than I recall him looking, but the expression is straight out of the George Clooney School of Headshots, first lesson, “stare directly into the camera and give a small smile like you’re thinking of a beautiful sunset.”
