The collar is weird. The shirt color is not working for me. He is going with warm harvest colors and throws in stark white and ice purple. Yikes. The necktie and the purple handkerchief do to not tie this together. He looks uncomfortable in this suit, anyway.

I want to like this, mostly because I like who’s wearing it, but can’t. I love the windowpane suit, and I love the lavender shirt and the patterned tie, but not together. I can’t help but want to put the cool colors with cool (blue or gray suit) and the warm with warm (ecru shrt and a tie with lots of gold in it).

What a waste of a good suit. The pants are too long and, honestly, the jacket looks just a touch too small. And the shirt — that doesn’t fit correctly at all! Plus the spread collar is only making him look thick-necked. And the contrasting white of the collar is also not a good look here.

That collar shouldn’t be worn with a standard tie. Another poorly tied necktie on the RC. It’s tied too tight both for the width of the tie and the shape of the knot.

Beautiful suit fabric and it is very flattering. The fit of the jacket is absolutely perfect. Love the color of the shirt. However, I dislike the collar both because it is white and because it is a spread color and I am not crazy about the length of the pant leg. It could have been a tad shorter. However overall he looks great.

I really hate the white collar on the shirt. It makes it look like there’s a horizontal line drawn across his neck. Having the collar in the same color as the shirt would have set off those baby-blues even more.

That is one giant tie, and I just can’t with the collar and wrinkly shirt. The suit could be awesome, but the fit of that jacket is killing me. He looks stumpy and very high-waisted. Kudos for trying, but this is no bueno.

Uh oh. 1) what the HELL re: the way that neck of the shirt is made? Because the collar is made so weird, it looks like he’s wearing a noose. 2) Wrinkly purple shirt and Tan Tweed? Oh dear. The too-long pants and the wrinkled shirt & the sliver of shirt cuff visible on only one arm combine to give a faint air of “bigger brother’s clothes.” Which is unfair, since he’s not really that far off a good fit.

This is sadly just dull and not quite right for me, perhaps I am missing something because he, personally, does nothing for me. So I must fixate on the ensemble, which is not quite.

Love the suit with the cordovan shoes, but I’ve never been a fan of white collars on colored shirts. Lavender was a bold choice for the shirt and would have worked with a different tie.
