Rihanna in Acne

RiRi is serving up Blanche Devereaux realness.

Rihanna attends the grand opening of the 40/40 Club in New York City in Acne.

And the weird part is… it almost works.

Almost. Okay, mostly not.

We love the hair and makeup, but we can’t with the pajamas; especially when she oh-s0-casually informs everyone that her shirt is almost entirely unbuttoned. We would’ve liked to have seen her give that suit a shot. If anyone could’ve made that work, it would be her.

Now say “Rihanna in pajamas” three time fast.

Seeing the title of the post, I thought there were going to be photos of Rhianna with an acne breakout or something. Seriously, there’s a clothing line named Acne? Oh and by the way – this look is a big OUT in my opinion.

  It made me wince, because if you search for photos of RiRi before she got superfamous (read: first on the scene and fresh off the boat from Barbados) then she herself had quite the acne problem. Girlfriend got a stylist and some Proactiv pretty quick, but there was a time when she was very, very, pimpletastic. So, poor taste anyway to name your line that, and in this case, calling up bad skin memories. Also, their models look like they’re about to keel over, so, ew.

Good lord, no. The ONLY thing I like is the matte red lipstick and even that’s not all that great. Her face is super shiny, her hair is awful and she looks completely insufferable in every photo.

I think this could have worked or at least been an interesting choice if the pants were tightish capris. I don’t know why, but that’s what I expected. I really dislike the hair and make up and couldn’t figure out why I dislike the hair som much and then I realized that the make up somehow throws off her normally beautiful face and makes it harder for her to wear that short hair.IMHO
