Of all the tiny things to get upset by, I’m afraid the starry sky in bright saturated sunshine kills this for me. The rest is pretty. And pretty apt for a magazine called Plastik.

    Can I just say how much I miss that show? I loved the fantasy and quirky humor. It reminded me of like the French movie Amelie.

      Oh its entirely likely that the two models were simply taken outdoors, into bright sunlight and shot, then every other thing about the shoot was done digitally to one degree or another.

        Look at the one bird in the top right corner of the first picture. There is no way that bird could be in front of the windmill blade. Very sloppy.

  But they got the sizes wrong. To be that large and in back of a windmill, those blackbirds would be the size of vulchers. (Double shudder.)

I love the colors, and the surrealism of the whole shoot. The clothes are fine, really, though nothing gasp worthy. I suppose that’s my only real problem here. For such a whack shoot idea, with such super saturated colors, I would have hoped for more intensely interesting, and unusual garments.

Funny, when I went to Brighton it was rainy and cold in July. I wish I could go to this Technicolor version instead…the colors are beautiful.

eh’s the editorial is a bit been there, done that artsy shoot I’ve seen a zillion times before. I would like to get a better look at the last 2 dresses and those blue shoes.

i like the clothes a lot, but this shoot isnt doing it for me.
maybe its because the two models are only wearing two outfits each, but there are seven pictures, making the whole thing seem ‘watered down’. like an album with too many interludes.
