J Lo is very respectful toward local cultures she visits in her travels. It’s inspiring, really. She should have been an anthropologist or something. Here, we see her in the wilds of London, taking on the attributes of the local tribe known as Chavs in order to better blend in with the environment.

    Just got off a trans-Atlantic flight or not, there’s no doubt the girl is chavving it. There is comfortable sportswear out there that will still look good after six to eight hours on a plane. Sadly, I think JLo is confused about what the term American Sportswear means.

    I think it says I just got off the bus from Albany and boy did we hit traffic… Don’t pretend she doesn’t have really comfortable clothes that look nice. I would be angry if anyone, celebrity or not, was dressed like this next to me on the plane. Disrepectful.

      How is it disrespectful for someone to dress comfortably on a plane ride? Wearing sweatsuit doesn’t affect you or anyone on the plane? That’s a bit extreme.

        I agree it may have been extreme, but as a poor person who travels by rail and bus and coach, i am over people boarding in pajamas or close to it. I work all day in a constricting suit. For travel i wear a comfortable shirt, pants and jacket. Just because I am traveling doesn’t mean i get to wear my 7am outfit.

    Um, I flew to and from Europe while 7 months pregnant, in coach, and never even considered a sweatsuit or yoga pants. Skinny jeans, a cute t-shirt and a long cardi wrap are the way to go for long flights. This is just lazy and trashy.

    I think plenty of average non-celebrity ladies find ways to be perfectly chic and put-together while still being comfortable on long flights. NEVER should anyone resort to a sweatsuit, unless you are at home sick with the flu or suffering from shingles!! This is so gross and ugly and she definitely travels with more amenities than I can fathom with even my wildest imagination. So, no excuses.

  There was a period about 7-8 years ago where I seem to recall that this matchy sweatsuits were legitimately in-style. Every store had Juicy knock-off sweat suits and for young women (I was early 20′s at the time) it wouldn’t have been considered too casual or out of style to wear some of these on a daily basis. But now? No.

I fly often to see my in laws..at least a six hour flight (and always in coach), longer in airports if not direct. and i never do it in sweat pants. There is comfortable clothing that exists that doesn’t look like this. and that is easily a 30k bag.
