IN or OUT: Nicole Kidman in L’Wren Scott
We totally dig L’Wren Scott’s aesthetic, which can best be described as “ladylike, with a rocker chick twist.” And we totally dig this dress:

But we’re not entirely convinced it’s working on Nicole. Here’s the thing about her: she’s obviously a very beautiful woman, but she has to be careful not to style herself to look too severe. The key word for her stylists should be “soft.” We like this dress in a general sense; the color and the texture are fabulous and the silhouette looks great. But that neckline, those 3/4 length sleeves, and that below-the-knee hem length are too much “lady-like” for one dress. Any one of these elements would have been fine on their own, and maybe even two of them would have worked, but all three in combination just age the look up and makes her look a little severe. The matchy red lipstick and over-penciled brows aren’t helping.
Don’t even get us started on the matchy shoes, although they are a gorgeous pair.
IN! Striking and gorgeous!
OUT! Severe and matronly!
Rashida Jones’ “secretary on acid” look did not enchant the Bitter Kittens, who voted it OUT.
BONUS: Just because we think she looks incredible:

Now, we ask you: WHY would she cover up those fabulous legs?
“Soft,” Nicole. Flowy. Windblown. That’s your look, hon.
