Darlings, for your Pretty of the Day, let’s all go on a romantic fantasy trip to the Paris of everyone’s dreams, where bitchy-looking women drape themselves over benches and buildings while wearing furs and outrageous hats, because they couldn’t possibly take a step in those gigantic shoes.

Okay, maybe that’s just the Paris of our dreams. At any rate, enjoy.

The only misstep is that hideous furry bag in the first picture. It looks like someone put a handle on Dougal. Everything else is just magic.

The black dress with the red coat has Helena Bonham Carter written all over it. I keep staring at the bag in the first picture, it looks like a decapitated Yorkshire Terrier made into a bag. There is too much photoshopped fog in all the pictures, so while I appreciate the effort, my Pretty of the Day are the Daniel Craig and Javier Bardem photo’s.

OMFG! Let’s party like its 1913! Seriously, I’m seeing total Edwardian era here, save for the monstrous platforms. Shoe designers, can we please move on from the stripper platform? Those of us with shoe wardrobes that are falling apart desperately need pretty, non-platform shoes.

I am not sure of the purpose here. The pictures are lovely. But the 2nd, 3rd and 4th looks are not what any woman would wear in this day and age. Not only do we vote now, but we get to wear skirts above the ankles during the day. Whatever.

Oh please, when booking this trip to the Paris of past, I would like to reserve a room for myself and one for my dresser. It really would be only possible to dream of such a time and place. The clothes and the hats… and the obvious wealth required. I love everything about this editorial.
