i find it mildly amusing that in years past, she and seal did some pretty wild, wacky costumes that did not always showcase her beauty — this year the newly single heidi is going for the sex & glam…..what a surprise……but i do love the costume….i wonder how long that headdress will last — should be funny to watch her try to get through a doorway…..

The costume is nice I guess but the big bauble on the hat is distractingly crooked (and seems likely to fall off during the night). It’s definitely dramatic, downright Drag Queen in fact, so why doesn’t it seem more fun?

For those saying Isis more than Cleo and commenting on the wings, the outfit is based on the procession ensemble liz taylor wore in the film. It was pretty much the way it looked in the film except in much heavier materials-even the cleavage was that low

I assume Heidi will be done up proper in terms of hair and make-up. There’s no reason for her to look pitch perfect in these shots. In fact I am shocked they showed any preview shots. She hasn’t in the past

in the 3rd photo down she has what I think of as Brittney eyes- eyes that are kind of sad and wanting external approval. Heidi, you are stronger than that. Costume is a costume, it’s her schtick and it’s fine, but she doesn’t look like she is in a good space to me.

I’ve felt she’s been very lost ever since the break-up with Seal and this just proves it to me. Every outfit she’s worn lately screams unhappiness to me and this one is no exception. She’s not into it all and usually she’s always into Halloween! She has never been the best dresser but at least she’s been happily tacky and, in my eyes, obviously believed in her hotness. Not anymore.
