Wow I don’t like this much… huh…. I think she looks dumpy but it’s probably the length of the dress more than anything. It just looks like a big column of green – feel like if it ended at or above the knee, then the whole look would be more balanced… as it is, there is too much green below the belt – or maybe it’s just the lack of contrast overall that makes it dull to me… and I’m bored with green on red heads although it’s very pretty on her. Complain, complain, complain….

I don’t like this and I think it makes her look heavier than she is. The hem is way too long and the color is too minty. If you must keep the green then the piping and the belt shuld be a contrasting color, like on the model.

It’s a great color on her and a big improvement overall. Some commenters say the belt should contrast, but I think that would cut her in half and make her look boxy. I just wish the fit was a little looser. An extra inch allowance all the way around and she’d still look curvy as hell, without looking stuffed into it.

The green is fabulous as is the shape. I think she needs the extra length to get the flare of the skirt, a shorter skirt would make her look wider I think. Quite see the logic for the matching color belt; a contrasting belt might look great from the front but not the side. Shoes are enh – look like they are supposed to be gold but end up looking dirty beige.

I like the color, the neckline, the sleeves, the bracelets and the minaudiere. The length is wrong too long and it’s a bit snug in the hips, shoes are just OK. Although the color is flattering, that is a lotta green and I wonder if the fabric is just a solid, looks like it, or has some tone on tone weave like the model’s dress. I think I would have preferred that in the green.

I agree with everyone. The dress should have been a few inches shorter and I personally would not have added any embellishments to the cap sleeves. Her bust line and shoulders are ample and she does not need anything adding to it. However the dress is very flattering and she looks beautiful. Love the clutch as well.

Yes, it’s a wig. I was surprised to find out she typically always wears wigs during her public appearances (and on Mad men, obviously). You can’t see her scalp when her hair is parted (and sometimes she has no part at all) when she is wearing a hair piece. I think the length and shape of the skirt are a perfect balance for her curvy bust and hips… great color on her. Wig (???) or not, the hair style is soft and flattering. And the sleeve detail is subtle but a nice touch. She is such a beautiful woman!

A big yes. The self coloured belt giving a continuous colour through the waist is flattering. A contrast belt would cut her in half. Also I disagree about a shorter hem being better. I sometimes thing knee length dresses look unflattering on her as they place a lot more emphasis on her calves than they need. This is sleeker and makes her look taller.

I liked the dress better without the flare at the hem. Should be tighter at the hem I think, or the hem should have been a tad higher. Still, for Christina not a bad look. Glad she at least put something in her hair to prevent the blown out frizz her hair sometimes has.

I think we’re saying the same thing? I wear a bonded fall/topper very similar to Christina’s, so I’m pretty familiar with how they work (as well as the website you linked to). Depending on the type, many have slits underneath that allow you to pull your own hair through and most cover the entire top of the head, except for the hairline. So, just because no part is visible doesn’t mean it’s a full wig. In fact, it’s pretty hard to incorporate one’s own hairline into a full wig.

Not sure it’s the perfect place for the hem, and perhaps some bolder accessories – but on her curve this is just about a WERQ.

Of course, she’s half way to WERQ if she hits even two of the following four: 1) dress fits without pulling and bunching 2)Dress does not give her enormous aged auntie uniboob 3) Dress does not serve up aggressive babyheads 4) dress allows wearer to note that she has a waist set between generous breasts and some solid hips (as opposed to waist & hips looking like a series of pillows shoved under her chest)
