We salute you, K Stew. Because we’re pretty sure you’re one of only a highly select few people who can make a neon yellow biker jacket and a pair of floral pants actually work.

That’s a kickass jacket, you have to admit. The pants we can take or leave and the boots look like more trouble than they’re worth, but we didn’t realize until today just how much the world was crying out for a neon yellow biker jacket.

I would kill to own that jacket in blue. Small, insignificant creatures like flies and centipedes, but killing nevertheless…

And fuck it, I like her hair. My hair looks the same damn way after washing and drying; the genetic tree didn’t see fit to give either of us hair or scalps that ever look like a Panteen commercial. It’s clean, it’s long, it doesn’t look fried and works with this faux-biker-chic thing. But zip up those boots.

Maybe it’s my monitor, but that jacket looks more like canary yellow than neon yellow. I like the way it looks to me….can’t imagine it in a neon shade. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again….she looks so much better when she smiles.

  It’s sort of a citron on mine, which is color calibrated for important purposes completely unrelated to looking at fashion sites… But more of a washed out/pastel acid-yellow than neon.
  
  I dig it, but think it might be better deployed to make a more feminine outfit edgier than to edge up an already graphic outfit. I hate the boots unreservedly.

  Yes, the only way you can pull off floral pants is to act like, “aren’t these a hoot?” Which is exactly the attitude she’s giving in the third picture.

Poor KStew. She can’t help it if she has some sort of magnetic, negative vibe that attracts peoples’ criticism; whatever they can muster up. And if she’s got it goin’ on, they’ll just come up with, “I just hate her! And she should comb/not comb her hair.” Mostly I was looking at the Parisians in the background of the picture standing around judging her. I see her in the future being one tough old broad.

I’m gonna have to say no to this outfit. The yellow on the jacket is too pale for her. The pants are… for a mime in a garden. And those boots are terrible. On their own, they’re fug, but with those pants, yeesh. Truly fucking ugly. No portmanteau can effectively describe how garish those boots are with those pants. She shoulda borrowed Dakota’s boots from the other day. Those were nice.

I rarely go against KS + Balenciaga, but ugh, no. I have a visceral hatred of yellow (or pink) and black and white together as a color story — it seems so cartoony-easy, and this outfit, with it’s zippers, big floral, white-soles just amps up the cartoon effect. Blech.
