  Yep. Not to mention that when her hair is pulled away, even gently, her cheekbones really come out. I like the muted colors on her cheeks and lips– the countouring is done well. But her eyes on the cover! I’ll bring the booze, Katie, and we’ll chase off those lingering Xenu nightmares.

I don’t think this photoshoot is the best for her – WHO sees that Versace dress and thinks, “Kate Holmes!” – but she looks arresting in the closeup, third one down.

  I agree. This is a great picture of her. Also the eye makeup looks good in this one. In some of the other shots the eye makeup, combined with her head position, make her eyes look droopy and extra sad.

  My thoughts too – I think I stopped scrolling when I got to that one. We can quibble over the styling and the choices she’s made but it hard to deny that she is just stunning.

  I think she’s only scary during and post-Cruise. If you see her in ‘Wonder Boys’ or ‘Pieces of April,’ she has a sweet, natural prettiness. She’s also good in both of those.

I think Katie is a crap actress (never liked her in ‘Dawson’s Creek’ and she was not much better in the”The Extra Man” which we watched the other night), but there is no denying that she is beautiful woman.

Joey Potter needs a hug. I can’t imagine being ambitious enough to marry Tom Cruise. These shots have a lovely sort of fragility to them, even with the new hardness to her expression. Very pretty.

  Yeah, one thing I noticed when I was in Europe is that people weren’t constantly fake-smiling out of obligation or fear that someone would yell at them for daring to go out in public with a neutral expression like they do in the US. I found it really refreshing.

It’s worth considering that any woman who marries Tom Cruise and his publicist probably doesn’t have a bunch of girlfriends who will come by with joints, red wine and lots of “honey chile”. She has no girl friends! With all the multitude of pictures taken of her have we ever seen her with another adult that was not her ex-husband or an employee? She does have a very vacant look.

Not a fan of hers. I think she has a (literal) wandering eye. Watch for her in the tabloids, it’s like her stylist told her “ALWAYS look to the side.” You can see it somewhat in photo four. Glad she got away from that robot Cruise! She does need a Girl’s Night Out!
