For lunch today, Jennifer recommends the breast.

Jennifer Lawrence attends the Hollywood Foreign Press Association’s 2012 Installation Luncheon in Beverly Hills, California in a Narciso Rodriguez dress paired with Christian Louboutin pumps.

That is a LOT of boob for a luncheon. What’s weird about this look is that everything else is so luncheon-ready, from the pencil skirt to the pointy-toed pumps, but then she had to go serve it up with boobs and the whole look feels off somehow. It doesn’t help that she’s got total yoga-class hair. Lots of mixed signals going on with this look. “I just came from my workout, so I don’t care how I look/Check THESE babies out!/I’m here to have lunch with the ladies who lunch.” We don’t mind any one of these ideas for an outfit, but Honey, pick a message and stick with it. A little support and perhaps a skosh more modesty up top, with a hairstyle that looks like someone spent some time and thought on it, and this outfit might have worked. It’s a great dress. It just isn’t being worn the way it was intended.

I hate the hair. I almost can’t even get past that to judge anything else. I love the dress, but it’s annoying me how the top seems to be riding up on her. I think that if it wasn’t, it would be PERFECT, even if a little boobalicious for a luncheon.

I’m sorry to do this to you, Jennifer, because you are beautiful and talented and I’m a huge fan, but this has got to be out. Just because you CAN wear something doesn’t mean you SHOULD wear something. This is just too much boob-escaping-from-snakeskin for the light of day. Also, that cowlick bang is AWFUL,TERRIBLE, NEVER DO IT AGAIN. Pinning your bangs to one side with a fluttering butterfly pin would have been more flattering than this terrible hair, which reminds me of my own (when I was six, had been swimming in my neighbor’s pool and playing outside all day, and consciously avoided the pull of a hairbrush). At least the butterfly pin would take it to eleven years old and show at least a conscientiousness regarding the importance of hair, misguided as the pin may have been.
