      I had never heard of Chelsea Kane either, although that’s not surprising since I am old and have no children running around watching Nickelodeon or Disney.
      
      But she’s kind of striking. Does anyone know if she can act? Seriously. Maybe she’s a good performer but not mainly an actor. The reason I am asking is obscure. See, physically she could play the role of Marla Ruszicka (she was a civilian human rights worker who was killed in Iraq in 2005). There’s been a movie bio supposedly in the works, optioned by Kirsten Dunst, but it’s gone nowhere, and I don’t think Kirsten can play young enough now.
      
      Chelsea Kane could. Forgive me for this OT sideshow, but casting that part has been a little fantasy project of mine for years.

  i think she might be there cos theyre doing both a movie & at least another season of arrested development. i cant tell you who’s doing it, nor can i tell you w/o scrolling upward who’s throwing the abovenoted party. so maybe whoever’s throwing the party’s also throwing the show/film, in a kind of off-market manner of speaking.

    I was at a wedding Saturday night where a young lady had shoes of that heel height, possibly a teense higher even, and she was NOT able to walk in them. She had to take teeny-tiny, tottering steps and instead of looking fierce (as I assume was her plan, since the shoes were gold and she wore a tight gold glittery mini dress) she looked kinda pathetic. That sort of footwear may be OK on the red carpet or in Letterman’s chair, but in real-world applications they are a major liability.

      Vikki Beckham would dare to test your theory. What I have found with women who stomp around in stilettos is: they never wear them, and think they can slap them on for a wedding and then walk around looking like Godzilla all night. It takes practice, and it’s not easy.

        Thanks Ryan! Right you are about the shirt. The black at the bottom of it skews all the proportions off a lot. And you’re right too about the jacket being great, but the fit in his arms and chest is tragically bad.

i would bet you demi lovato thinks she’s too fat & is trying to throw everyone off. i have to qualify that by saying that i, myself, do not think she looks, or is, fat in the slightest. nor do i care one way or the other. it just made me kind of sad to see her cos i understood the impetus behind what she’s doing.

right now, in the hours just before and just after dawn, i dont have the kind of pain i experience all the rest of the day & night. it’s too severe for me to concentrate well enough to even write a comment on this, or anyone’s, blog even– i mean, wow, it’s bad. hopefully by the end of the week there’ll be some surcease. but who knows. anyway, demi lovato’s outfit really spoke to me–the hair, the feathers, the platforms, the geegaws, the endless distractions–so i thought i’d speak to it. while i could, that is.

I think that in future I will give celebrities in their teens a pass, at least a partial pass. They should do better, considering their access to stylists, but, y’know, thinking back on some of the godawful things I wore as a teen, thinking I was the cat’s meow, I can’t help but feel some sympathy.
