Cover Girl: Rosie Huntington-Whiteley for ELLE UK

One of T Lo’s favorite fierce red carpet goddesses get’s the cover treatment and we are more than a little confused.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley covers the September 2012 issue of ELLE UK magazine photographed by David Vasiljevic.

Is it us, or is that an amazingly unflattering picture of her face? Flat, full-on lighting with virtually no contouring? Did an intern take this picture? Total moon face.

Actually, that’s not true. There is contouring; it’s just that it gives her knife-edge cheekbones and makes her look like she has a 5 o’clock shadow. What an odd cover shot.

But she’s working the shit out of that outfit, we have to say. And let’s face it: practically no one is capable of working the shit out of that thing.

YES and YES. She is working the outfit and yes that is a dreadful cover. It seems most covers these days are so photshopped that most of the celebs don’t look like themselves and don’t appear very attractive.

Head too big for the body on the cover. That is some bad photo-shopping. Look at the difference between the size of the runway model’s head and the cover head! The proportions are just plain wrong. Disconcerting.

Her head looks gigantic compared to her body, and her hips/thighs look tiny (not tiny as in skinny, tiny as in the proportions are literally off). I think this is really bad photoshopping at work.

She is still making that hideous outfit work for her, though!

in other news, at first & in my browser, i only saw the top half of the cover. from that i thought it was adele. take that however you want but i mean it very nicely. i actually dont think the photoshop is as bad as all that. i’ve seen so much worse. then again perhaps instead it’s cos i still have to sustain me the memory, earlier this week, of poor & silly mimi–or, at least, maybe kinda sorta parts of poor & silly mimi [maybe. i'm not certain any of that was real]. so, um, yeah, again. okay.
