To coin a phrase that sounds filthy but actually isn’t in the slightest, our boycups runneth over today. Butt-chinned hair wonder with the romance novel name Diego Boneta started off your morning, and now adorable Russian imp Anton Yelchin is here to get you over the hump, so to speak.

Once again, it’s a guyditorial without much in the way of fashion but he does give pretty damn good face, we have to say.

Anton Yelchin is featured in the June/July 2012 issue of Interview Russia magazine photographed by Kurt Iswarienko.

He is ridiculously talented and has a ton of range. As a Star Trek fan I really have to appreciate what he did with Chekov – he calibrated it just right to keep the comic aspects of the character without crossing into full-blown buffoonery. Especially impressive considering he was 17 or 18 at the time of filming.

It’s strange to find him legitimately attractive since he’s had a baby face for so long…

Oh child, you look like a five-year-old building sand castles. You don’t look like sex on a beach; you just look unhygienic. Also, the photog did you no favors shooting you in bright midday light on a glaringly sunny day. Beach shots do better with diffuse early morning light with enough thin clouds to diminish shadows (photography 101, hello).

    It is the model’s problem after the fact, given that these shoots go in their books and help them get future jobs. As far as the photo editor, they take the best shots of what the photog delivers. If it’s a crappy shoot, they pick the best of a bad job as the whole thing is already bought and paid for by that point.

      So what you’re saying is that the photo editor is obliged to buy shots from a shoot that he/she knows is crap, right?
      
      Clearly the photo editor in this particular issue was not convinced of the crap quality of these photos, as they appear in the magazine. Hence, if the shoot is crap and yet shots are published nonetheless, it’s on the photo editor.

But he’s just a boy! The kid from that adaptation of Stephen King’s “Hearts in Atlantis”…y’know, the movie version that covered only the first third of its source material….not normally automatic cause for distress but the filmmakers didn’t get to the part in the novel that explains the title!
