HE: Probably should’ve shown up for a fitting first. Everything’s a little too tight on him. We don’t particularly love the color of the suit on him and while we wouldn’t want them to match, the browns in the tie and shoes are fighting each other. This was one look that definitely could’ve used a pop of color. Overall, he looks depressed and cranky. Not a good look. Score: 6.5/10.

SHE: Is SHUTTING IT DOWN, DISCO-STYLE. That dress shouldn’t work on any human being, but she’s making it WERQ. Who cares if it’s a uterus skirt! Hands in the air like you just don’t care! And the jacket makes a perfect accompaniment. This isn’t an easy look to pull off at all, but girl is making it sing. Hair, makeup and shoes all look great too. Score: 9.5/10.

Combined Score: 8/10. James, you better thank her.

That dress is pretty hiddy on the model, but the changes on Solange really work.

That suit is not Franco’s color. I’ve seen him dressed up and he can look good. This is just a wreck all around.

I would have knocked him down maybe a point or two. Hem to my less-trained eye, anyway, looks a bit long in the first photo, especially. And he looks large and square-shouldered atop, to boot. Not a good look, in any case.

Sorry, nobody in a gold skirt that looks like a low-slung belt gets a 9.5 in my book. Maybe a 9, since she looks so fine otherwise. Three to four more inches on that skirt would have been a 10.

He is the undisputed king of douchebags, which awards him 5.0 or less, no matter what ill-fitting clothes he “borrows.”

This is how Solange should look. She’s beautiful, has a great body and great hair. Stéphane Rolland must hate her to have convinced her to wear that awful outfit of his recently. Someone who can look this good in what is essentially a headband around her thighs, should never look as bad as she did. I’m guessing he styled her too, as he styles Steffi head-to-toe.

I don’t even know what to say about James Franco. He’s like your friend’s stoner brother that you dress up in borrowed clothes because you need a date for a wedding.

I don’t mind his look as much as you guys do. I think the fit of the jacket is off and the tie is the wrong color for this look. Perhaps something in the rust/gold family would have worked better. Not a bad effort, I’d give him a 7.5/10
Now THIS is the Solange I see most of the time. She takes fashions risk which means you can get it wrong at times . Please more of these pics. She’s serving some Diana Ross realness, but clearly doing the heavy lifting in this. 9.5/10

I actually kind of don’t like the skirt part. Jacket is fabulous, but from a head-on viewpoint she looks like she’s all legs, super wide hips and no waist. She’s certainly disco fabulous, but I would have pulled it in a little at the waist to give her some shape.

Agree with your critique. I lways wonder about “color” in the photos and how accurate it is in the photo/photos.
