I can’t be objective. I almost always thinks he looks wonderful.

I have a few quibbles – the jacket could be oversized but a bit *less* oversized, and that skinny scarf is a half-measure he should have ditched – but I think he looks way better here than in some of his more Goodwill gypsy looks.

    Some of his clothes fit perfectly (though they are often semi-obscured by the schmatta). Until I got older and thickened a bit in the middle & felt like I needed to start working every angle I could just to stay presentable in public, I chose a lot of my non-work clothes to be oversized because I liked them that way.

And while she dresses quirky as hell most of the time, she tones it down considerably depending on the event and sometimes wears quite traditional gowns and cocktail dresses. This is such a persistent response but HBC does not wear the same style of outfit all the time and she does show up at events appropriately dressed in some very celebrated and expensive designers. Seriously. Click on the HBC tag and look at the last 7 or 8 entries. Plenty of conventional cocktail dresses and gowns.

Long ago, you ceased to criticize Helena Bonham Carter for her fashion choices, saying that she doesn’t play by the rules, so there’s no point in holding her to them.
