We’ve been all about giving you your Recommended Daily Allowance of Fassbender lately, but one glance of these pictures and we knew you were all way overdue for a cup of joe.

But can we at least stop our gawping long enough to have a conversation about his repertoire of facial expressions? All two of them? It had to be said, kittens. They are as follows:

In that last shot he looks like he is just soooo close to figuring out the answer…probably as a lead-in to “fuck math, you know you want me.” Is he more expressive in the show? I don’t watch True Blood.

  Hahaaa! As far as the show goes, his character is supposed to be “intense” so his expressions mostly work, but I’m thinking it’s just his “schtick” and he was fortunate enough to fall into a roll that’s tailor made for him.

  i must speak for my joe. he is so wolf-like on the show that it’s mind blowing (he plays a werewolf). i adore him and have never felt him expressionless.

  Yes, geeze! I don’t usually get into the photoshop/airbrush debate – it’s doesn’t bother me that much. But it looks like he is carrying a mannequin on the cover!!

  That’s just really, really BAD Photoshop, too. It’s like they spent five minutes with the smudge tool and called it a day. I guess we should be happy that men are getting the same “unrealistic” treatment that women get, but this is just dumb. Hello, art director? You haven’t made him look more attractive. You’ve made him look like a mannequin. Mannequins aren’t sexy. Every shot would have been improved by leaving it alone … except maybe cropping out his odd right foot in the reclining pic.

I thought it was cool of him to acknowledge another actor who is known for ‘getting furry’, especially one who is so diametrically opposed to him physically…
