Alison Brie makes an appearance on the “Tonight Show with Jay Leno” in an Anthony Franco suit from his Spring 2012 collection.

A white track suit on TV? Sitting down? Oh, sweetie. Do you mind if we gently laugh at your naivete and hilariously awful instincts for a couple minutes? We promise we’ll stop after that.

But hey, balloon animals. That’s pretty awesome.

White is not a good choice for tv, which already makes you look heavier than you are. That being said,
WHAT THE HECK IS UP WITH GARY SHANDLING”S FACE???? Could there be more filler or botox injected into it? It looks like he took that ballon pump and filled up his head. I’m so sad. I loved The Gary Shandling Show and all of his early appearances on Johnny Carson. It looks like he has succumbed to LA syndrome.

I kind of lurv the look – but I think its more appropro for the red carpet when she’s standing as opposed to sitting down and trying to have a “natural” tv convo. I feel like only darker colored/patterned suits work well for the sitting down – or something in a more comfortable, lighter fabric.

The white material for her suit looks super stiff and uncomfy sitting down – plus under the talk show lights obscures all the chic little details, as well as making it look like a cheap ol’ pair of sweats.

  It really is the stripe taking it into track suit territory. You can see the tuxedo lapels on the jacket and they look sharp. I think I’d just have forgone any embellishment on the pants, if it were up to me.

It looks like it is cute when she’s standing up. Not the most flattering for sitting on t.v. – but LIGHT YEARS better than a micro mini length she has to be obsessed with lest the t.v. gods have to pixilate her privates/undies.

No way Cameron Diaz could have made balloon animals the other week, her hands never strayed from her hem for more than a minute – IF that long.

It sure doesn’t sit well, does it? She looks pretty bunchy. I didn’t see this interview, but it looks like it’s going well. I wish he would rearrange his furniture. The previous guest usually gets isolated when the new guest turns to talk to Leno. If I ever get invited to be on the Leno show, like to share my brilliant fashion insights for example, I will make it a point to turn and include the person on the sofa so they won’t feel like a putz.

Trudy, I love you, but a white tux with a black stripe is a jogging suit–no matter what the jacket looks like or what the fabric. Sigh . . . though it does sort of make me love her for it. Her sense of style is so off that she looks like a real person–but with better hair.

I like it too although it’s a boring shoe choice. Ladies don’t realize to unbutton the jacket when they sit though, to avoid that upcreep and rumpling, which is second nature to fellows.

I read an interview with her this week, where she talked about going to some hippie-slash-arts college and running around the quad naked, on a regular basis. Her parents sounded like they were pretty laid-back, too. Maybe she just doesn’t care about clothes that much?

  My brother-in-law and his wife (does that make her my sister-in-law once removed?) attended the same school in the 80s. I wouldn’t call it “some” arts college because it has a great reputation and their graduates are usually successful in The Industry because of the alumni connections. It was founded by Walt Disney so, at least when my husband was graduating from different art school, if you wanted to work for the Disney Corp. in some way, you basically had to graduate from that college. I don’t know if it is still that way.

NO! Rachael Ray has been wearing the pants on her show of late and they’re just plain shiteous. Of course Ray is trying to project the image of of professional 40-something hosting her own talk show (and failing miserably) while Brie is just a guest. Still, jeans would have been a better choice.
