We must be in a really good mood today. Two WERQs, darlings! We’ll have to be extra-bitchy in the next post. But we refuse to apologize for it. Just as Chloe deserved her WERQ for rocking some fresh-faced tweengenue realness, Fraulein Heidi is killing it in the “I’m a recently divorced single mom and I’m still the hottest thing in the room, bitches” sweepstakes.

And what makes this doubly WERQ-worthy is that she went with a lining. Oh, Heidi. You’re all grown up now. You’re free to wear something short, tight, and shiny the next time you go out. You’ve earned it. You know you want to. We won’t even make fun of you for it.

I don’t know – it’s a gorgeous dress, but either the fit is off or it just wasn’t designed for someone as well-endowed as Ms. Klum. She’s looking boxy through the waist and stumpy in the torso, and her boobs are all squished and pushed out to the side. She’s in her 40′s – there’s nothing wrong with wearing a dress under which she can hide some support garments! I think she needs something with more support in the bust or that cinches at the waist: it’d even things out some.

    Ack, my mistake! Frankly she looks good for any age: she always looks healthy and un-enhanced. If she’s had any work done it’s beautifully subtle. But even at not-quite-39, there’s still no shame in hiding a bra or bustier under your gown!

above the neck is flawless, but I’m not digging the dress. Even on the model (other than our fraulein here) the dress makes the wearer look pear shaped. I’m pretty sure that neither the model nor heidi are as bottom heavy as they appear in this dress. I just don’t think it’s that flattering. Plus the side boob, and I just can’t. Props on the lining, though.

She’s a stunning woman, but that dress looks like she took the top from one of her older daughter’s sparkly princess costumes. The fit is off — too sparse on top for one as generously endowed — and the middle makes her look thick. But I appreciate the lining!

Nope, not a WERQ for me. Her girls and hanging too low and I detest side-boob. She’s at that age where she needs a little support and this dress is not giving it to her. And that ring is just ridiculous. On a positive note, I think she looks fabulous from the neck up.

  Not sure exactly how age-specific that is. The most notorious case of saggy-boob I can think of is that sad, sad “chicken cutlet” black dress Gwyneth wore to the Oscars… in her mid-20s.

i like everything but the color of the lining. i think if it had been a deeper purple or a darker blue, even, to set off the filigree & foofaraw of the dress it would be considerably better. otoh, after the sheer pure rottenness of the last few months of her life i am glad to see her looking reasonably happy. & she does look nice.

Hrm. Something about the fit of the bodice (sideboob aside, as it were) isn’t quite working for me. Maybe it’s the way the built-in bra in the lining is structured? Or maybe it’s just a skoosh too small? I wish it fit her like it does the model — the flapper style bodice really makes the dress.

Oh dear. I am finding myself disagreeing with TLo more and more. What is happening? This dress is killing her figure–she has no shape and looks like she has a really short torso. Given that her figure is amazing she shouldn’t put up with a dress that doesn’t show it well.

No, no, no! The cups are not big enough for the boobs – side boob catastrophe! And where that slit stops – put a neon arrow with a vacancy sign flashing. Not a flattering fit either – she needs something to define her waist – this makes her midsection look boxy. The color is also very wishy washy. No, no, no!

  Oddly, I have to particular objection to the side-boob. But the dress on the model looks ethereal and sylph-ish, and on Heidi, I agree with others, inexplicably squarish. Which she definitely isn’t. And that lovely lake blue color just goes flat on her. Not her dress.

I’m wondering whether the problem with the ‘boxy’ fit is that Heidi has demurely and surprisingly asked for the V neck to be sewn and inch or two higher than for the model. That might account for the unflattering tightness and pulling in the middle of her sternum and the bad fit over the boobs.

Hiedi looks thick through the middle. Thank goodness she had the good taste to line the dress, so it looks better than the runway dress. But the overall effect is that she is definitely middleaged, and has no waist. The side boobage does not distract from this problem. She is trying too hard to be sexy and she no longer has the glow of youth. She looks desperate. Won’t somebody please buy her a drink and flirt with her a little?

I understand everyone saying the silouette is off and she needs more support, but I’ll be contrary and say bravo for the natural shape! Love it sheer on the model too—something Weimar about it?—though that wouldve been totally inappropriate for a public appearance. And also: her version of sideboob is fine, there’s nothing bad there.
