You guys! Rosie H-W put on a dress and it doesn’t actually look all that good on her!

All those voodoo dolls you stuck pins into actually did the trick!

Have we mentioned our hatred of tulip skirts before? No? Well we hate tulip skirts. If you’d like to know why, we refer you to the internationally famous size-0 model making the attempt to wear one in the above pictures and looking like she shoplifted a ham.

Those shoes are adorable but we’re not sure they work with a white dress. As always, though, she’s giving good face. Can’t take that away from her.

From the waist up she looks fabulous. I’m with you on the tulip skirt. I really hate them. Shoes are cute, but appear to be too big for her. Can’t these stylists come up with footwear that fits properly?

To be fair, one has to be superhuman to pull off that hem. I don’t think it particularly flatters anyone. Even on the model it screams ” poolside wrap”.

I like longer tulip skirts, when the parting hits at the knee. Otherwise is looks like curtain for your ladyparts.

She does look like she shoplifted a ham…inside a diaper. And the shoes actually add to that effect, she looks like a diaper-clad toddler who tried on her mom’s pumps. The shoes on the model, matchy as they are, look better to me.

part of the problem of course is Rosie’s (and the model’s) proportions. The dress gives a highly pronounce pear shape that’s exasperated by the neckline. It wouldn’t be as bad if she had a naturally bustier body, then we would have more of an hour glass figure

Also the fabric kind of screams wedding which deters from the whole look even more

It looks like she’s wearing the dress an inch or 2 longer and it’s throwing off proportions. Agreed the shoes are nice. UT don’t exactly go.

Two thoughts on this:
1) You are a model with an incredible body who gets free red carpet clothes, why would you wear a dress that looks like a swim suit cover up for a beach wedding?

2) Why do your legs appear orange while the rest of your exposed skin is much lighter?

it’s the severity of her hair, i think, more than anything. that & that the tulipy part of the skirt doesnt fit right. how i wish a skirt that size would be too big for me. no chance, but it is too big for her. also the shoes are all totally beyond wrong. you like them better than i do. to me, theyre all kinds of discombobulated. the wacky almost batiky print, for example, doesnt match their conservative early 60s style. or at least that is what they look like to me, as much as i can see of them.

LOVE the neckline and the bodice but they can’t save that skirt. Plus a little “bridey” with all the embroidery. Great “on paper” shoes, but oddly not so great in reality. Go figure.

That dress would look better if it were a FLOOR LENGTH tulip hem, I think. I don’t know what you’d wear those shoes with, if not a white dress. (Of course, maybe not *this* white dress.) And will someone please tell me how the name “Gn” is pronounced?

She is cute. The tulip skirt is narrow enough to give shape but not make her hips look big. The dress is perfect for contrasting, busy shoes. The purse is perfect. It is different, but does not fight the shoes or the dress.
