Darlings, it has occurred to us that you all are probably not getting your Recommended Daily Allowance of Fassbender. Thankfully, Vogue, as it so often does, provides us with sustenance.

We are insanely excited about Prometheus. Grace Coddington seems to be playing off his David character a little bit here, or at least playing into his naturally android-y looks by placing him in a 1920s utopia inspired by the Man Ray film, The Mysteries of the Chateau of Dice.

Also, that little man-bitch has the smallest waist we’ve ever seen on a grown man. Gorgeous pictures, though.

On her: Yves Saint Laurent leather trench coat, gloves, and boots; YSL, NYC. Prada bag. On him: Prada coat. Balenciaga by Nicolas Ghesquière pants.

On her: Oscar de la Renta color-blocked silk dress. On him: Prada shirt and pants.

On her: Dries Van Noten cotton trapeze coat. Givenchy by Riccardo Tisci gloves and boots.

On her: Céline printed shirt, skirt, belt, and black-and-white boots.

On her: Marni cotton-and-silk shirt with glass-detailed collar.

  Isn’t it a relief to actually be able to SEE the clothes? I appreciate the artistic effort in some editorial shoots but lately it feel like “pile up as much couture as you can on a poor model” is the norm.
  The clothes are fabulous, the YSL coat is TO DIE and the Dries Van Noten is absolutely gorgeous!

Thank Goodness, I was suffering from SEVERE Fassbender deficiency. Symptoms include ennui, depression, lower levels of libido, and luster-less skin.

When I saw this post I immediately ran to my bed (I got Vogue in the mail today) and ripped the plastic, when I opened the mag to remove the irritating “Suscribe now!” papers there he was: The Fassbender. Although he looks older, he’s still hot.

Love that first photo so much. Especially how the background looks like any one of a million apartment complexes… how fabulous would it be for that to be in someone’s rental marketing materials?! The one with the topiary should also be in the brochure.

Everything is tres chic, except for the white hat under the black hat in the first photo. It all looks French and there is no other explanation for it. However, at least it is rather toned down. (I am flashing back to the circus nightmare, and other assorted ‘artful’ views of fashion that have scared us from the other side of the pond.)

Beautiful spread, but I didn’t realize how tiny he is. I think the coat the model is wearing in the first picture is my favorite coat of all time. Gorgeous.

Gorgeous clothes, particularly the YSL trench. Vodianova is overrated and overexposed (careerwise). Fassbender is modeling her under the table. Actually, she should be so lucky to be under the table with him. *I* deserve it so much more.

ABOUT TIME! I was beginning to think you didn’t care about my Michael Fassbender obsession. The picture of him drawing on Natalia’s face is one of my favorite fashion photographs of the year. It’s the juxtaposition of her old-movie-star soft pretty against his almost aggressively modern angularity that I think is so brilliant. Nice to see the rest of the shots too, but that one is easily the best.

Strangely unconvincing (maybe they weren’t trying to convince?) shoot if it was supposed to be dramatic, or forbidding. But he is such an attractive man!

She’s no slouch either, I especially liked her hair. She (& the team) showed the trapeze coat and the Marni shirt/dress off to great advantage.

It’s not an appartement complex. It’s the Villa de Noailles in Hyères (south of France). It’s a very famous modern house. I grew up in this town. The fact that Michael Fassbender came here is too much to handle. Look at him!
