Has the blog been taken over by impersonators? This gets a WERQ? Seriously? The skirt is much too short. The jacket to large and bulky. And the blouse is boring and sloppy. The proportions look completely off and while I love the shoes they don’t really go with anything else. At best this looks to me like an IN/OUT post and at worst a This is Not Your… post. First Project Runway turns into a huge pile of crack, and now you guys are too? Please no.

I always got the impression that “WERQ”s were about applauding someone for doing something risky, or outside their wheelhouse, and as such, they aren’t going to be to everyone’s taste.       I don’t really want to get into this much more, but T-Lo themselves on a number of occasions have alluded to the crack smoking of the judges on PR based on their crazy opinions, even times when I’ve agreed with the judges and not them. This is just what I’ve done here. I think half the point of this blog is to point out all the times celebrities (or stylists or designers) are crazy because of the whacked-out fashion decisions they’ve made. It is called hyperbole and is often used by the fabulous and opinionated.

      I have to apologize. I think I’ve just been in a pissy mood all day because of the tragedy that Project Runway has become. I’m not even a fan of Kenley (not even slightly) but her auf’ing last night just rubbed me the wrong way. You’d think a TV show wouldn’t be able to get me so ruffled, but it is just sad to see the show in the state it has been in recently.

I too, am a little confused about this getting a WERQ, even though I like it. But I like it cause the knee high socks and pleated skirt were something I rocked in H.S., which makes it seem not so fashiony to me and the hair is, well, not i’m gonna get my pic taken hair. Personally I preferred argyle knee highs and paired with skin tight tops, not loose blah blouses, so probably woulda been an out from me.

agreed. the knee high is breaking her up in a weird way. I think even a knee high boot would be better because they stop just below the knee–the socks hit mid-knee, and I think it makes her leg look thick because of it

Totally disagree with you on the smiling thing. It’s one thing if she’s working, like on the red carpet or during interviews or what have you; people who can’t be bothered to smile for the few minutes that takes probably need a reality check. But when she’s just walking down the street? What do you want her to do, plaster a joker-esque smile on her face at all times just in case somebody’s about to take her picture?
