Mad Men Season 5 Premiere Red Carpet
It’s opening night for the best-dressed cast in television, darlings. With some notable exceptions, of course.
Alison Brie in Emil Couture
Notable exception Number One. Actually, the dress is kind of cute, even if the collar and cuffs feel like a bit much. We think the shoes are just a little too on-point for the outfit and something with a little contrast and maybe color would have served it better. Everything north of her neck is bothering us.
This is almost charmingly normal. He looks like your average businessman who accidentally wandered onto the red carpet – from a very windy day, judging by the hair.
It’s dramatic, but it looks kind of severe. A slightly higher hem and a lighter color on the nails would help.
Love the dress; not in love with the shoes.
January Jones in Roland Mouret
She’s giving primo bitchface.
The dress is pretty weird but she’s coming close to pulling it off. We could do without the white flounces.
Great suit; dingy shoes.
Jay R. Ferguson
We almost didn’t recognize SCDP’s resident misogynist. It’s a serviceable look, but nothing to write home about. Jacket’s a bit snug.
Fabulous. The bangles were a perfect touch.
Jon Hamm and Jennifer Westfeldt in Kate Spade
He looks great. She does too, but the “green dress paired with gold shoes” trend must die soon.
Adorable, although the top would work better if it had some color to it.
Rich Sommer and wife
Nice suit. Now go take a bath and get those pants hemmed.
