The Girl on Fire lays down some ice for the cover of Interview Germany.

Jennifer Lawrence featured in the April 2012 issue of Interview Germany photographed by Matthias Vriens-McGrath and styled by Styling Elizabeth Stewart.

Well, that answers the question of who would wear a bejeweled bathing suit. A movie star, obviously. And in this instance, we have to say “well done,” because we can’t think of another celeb gal right now who could make this thing work, but J Law’s killing it.

Yikes, photoshop fail, much??! A missed opportunity for the magazine to feature this beautiful girl, really, since she def. does not need it…..Do you have any other pics from this spread? Really hope this wasn’t the best picture they came up with.

  I don’t know for sure about the Kesha (refuse to use the dollar sign). I think it’s printed on the photo and being used like an asterisk, since there is a correlating star next to her name. I guess in case reader’s couldn’t figure it out. If she was really channeling Kesha, she’d be covered in stars, yesterday’s eyeliner, have blue lipstick, and trashed nylons. But I agree…even the fact that it makes people think of Kesha is a bad thing.

    They did, back when X-Men First Class was first released. But they were generally drowned out by people hailing the appearance of an Actual Sized girl in an A-list film. I don’t know about any of the other bitches here, but I would kill for a bejeweled bathing suit. I just think they should have put her hair up in a messy bun and given her some giant chandelier earrings, like the models. Or a turban. I don’t know if she’s the kind of girl who could rock the turban, but I’d like to see it.

I’m gonna go out on a limb here, and argue that her boobs weren’t photoshopped enough. Yes. I know. Crazy.

But here’s the thing: I’m a large breasted girl and all I can think about is how that bathing suit is giving her quad-boob. The hardest part of the large breast/small waist equation is finding a one piece anything (swimsuit, dress, etc) that fits both. I’ve pretty much given up on dresses and one pieces for that reason myself since it’s so much easier to match skirts with tops and buy different sized bikini pieces.

A larger bathing suit would have been my first option, but I doubt one was available. If they had tweaked the boobs post-production to make them look less squished I would have been able to focus on the fab.

These damn jeweled bodysuits have gotten more editorial coverage than they deserve. There were some beautiful dresses in that collection, too. It’s a shame.
