Daniel Radcliffe Gets Some Advice

What a nice young man.

Daniel Radcliffe attends the premiere of “The Woman in Black” in Paris.

And such cute dimples.

But what a shame about his hem. Oh, well. He probably wasn’t going to ask you out anyway.

And since we’re being bitches, is an eyebrow trim such a horrible thing to introduce to the conversation here? We’re not suggesting a full-on waxing, but them things is FUZZY. Maybe just a little trim the next time you’re in the barber’s chair, Daniel? Also, perhaps some work ensuring that you remain two-browed? And a better razor, maybe? We hear they make them with like 16 blades now. Otherwise, you look very nice.

Yeah, the brows could use some grooming. But he looks great otherwise. I’ll always appreciate a guy who looks like he bathed before appearing in front of the cameras.

Since, despite his activism, Radcliffe is into women, I submit that it is awfully refreshing to see a male actor who looks like a guy in the hair department.

Also, he over-shared a bit just recently on his personal grooming and how Brazilians on women are “creepy” to him, so this eyebrow critique cracks me up.

Lol, you have a point on the hem and the brows, but other than that I think he got a lot right. The fit on the jacket is great, the suit has just enough sheen to make it interesting but not so much that it looks smarmy, and I love the pop of interesting color with the tie. I give it a B+.

Have to say, my husband is of both the British and Caterpillar-browed persuasions. So much so that Daniel’s got nothing on him, and he refuses to alter a damn hair. To his credit, though, he has a near-miraculous lack of grow-togetherness. They are perfectly separated for the width of the bridge of his nose and neither the left nor the right ever strays into uni-brow territory. His da’s the same. All that to say, maybe it’s a British thing.

I agree, he needs to fix the almost-mono brow but leave the thickness, I kinda like it =D But yes, he could get a closer shave. Is the suit a bit shiny? The hem is definitely too long….overall, not bad at all really =D

A thought about the shave….DR leans towards a babyface so maybe the stubble is an attempt to remind the fanbase that he is a grown-ass-man and not the kid with a wand. His choices of projects (Equus…How to Succeed in Business et. al) may not always be enough…just sayin’

I agree about the hem (isn’t he usually pretty good about that?), but i kind of like that his brows are kept pretty natural. I just love him for his personality, but most of the time when I look at him I’m laughing inside because Rachel Dratch completely has his number.

For the love of god, can’t he afford a suit of his own? He’s got his big brother’s pants and his little bro’s jacket. TLo, please put a stop to this tiny jacket thing. I get that old school fit might be too old for him, BUT the general rule is…if you can’t physically imagine getting your hand into your pocket…grow up. You gave high marks to several gents sporting fitted jackets coming just above the thumbnail. And since he is so damn pale, throw in a close shave (pale faces cannot pull a 5 o clock shadow or 2 day scruff).

I like that he always seems to be going for “gentlemanly”, which is such a nice change of pace from most of young Hollywood. But his posing on the red carpet always comes off as so… earnest. So eager, really hoping we’ll buy the vacuum cleaner he’s selling.

Now that I say this, I guess it’s endearing, but I keep getting the feeling that he’d call me “ma’am.”

I am totally against eyebrow-scaping. Unless there is a legit unibrow happening, I think people should leave them alone. There’s almost nothing as unappealing as overly sculpted eyebrows, in my opinion.

  I mostly agree, but in Daniel’s case, just a teeny bit of weeding in the middle would go a long way from keeping him looking like his eyes are too close together (which they aren’t), but the close brows tend to make me think they are.

Adorable. Love a guy who isn’t afraid to wear a bright tie.
I do agree about the eyebrow trim. I trim my guy’s on a regular basis, because otherwise you could braid and bead them and that’s never a good thing.
Daniel’s eyebrows are in dire need of a trim, just to tame the bushiness a little. It would bring those baby blues of his out even more.

  Maybe James Cagney. Not as pretty as him, either. But teeny tiny and kind of rangy. John Garfield had a softer, more sensual face. Alan Ladd? I’m trying to think of the smallest Hollywood stars out there. But Cagney, Garfield and Ladd were all totally leading men, not doing character roles. I’m thinking maybe Freddie Bartholomew is the best choice. It’s really hard to go from child star to adult actor.

It’s only fair that he should have to groom his face, since if any female co-star appeared with him she would be expected to be perfectly waxed, including eyebrows, legs, whatever. Unlike so many of the men we’ve been seeing on the red carpet, Daniel does seem to put in an effort. First glance he looks pretty good. I do agree that a few tweeks could take him to a higher level. I don appreciate that he isn’t putting his hands in his pockets.

I have to say in the lil’ cuties defense, it’s rather refreshing to see a young leading man that isn’t shellacked, plucked & processed w/in an inch of his life like the Gosling, Reynold, who’s that other 1– yeah, Gyllenhal (Prince of Persia was horrific, only made worse by JG looking like his chest hair was individually plucked) cadre. I do take issue w/ the pant hem & the fit of the jacket. That’s what makes him look uncomfortable instead of relaxed & natural. Like his brows.

haha! finally somebody says a word about danrad’s eyebrow situation! they have bugged me forever but i figured that it was just me. even removing the errant bits would open up his face so much. otherwise he looks great. i am digging the grey suit and yellow tie combo, and the bit of scruff doesn’t bother me. also, i think the french title is big improvement on the film. <3

It’s probably just me, but if your eyebrows are going to be that gigantic, maybe get some slight bangs to hide your slightly large forehead. Although he probably looked great in real light. Camera lighting makes a lot of folks look bad.

And I think small men need to be careful about aggressive tailoring. It can make you look smaller — his jacket looks like it came from the Boys Department.

The eyebrows are part of who he is. He’s already made some fairly strong anti-scaping remarks in the press. And who’s to say he doesn’t already mow a lane down the middle between them?
