Hi, Matt Bomer!

Matt Bomer on his way to “The Today Show” in NYC.

We will take everything you have here (with the exception of your dry-cleaning*). We’ll take the coat, the scarf, the gloves, the shades, and definitely the shoes. You can keep the nostril-flaring disdain and high haughtiness, but not because we don’t appreciate it. We’ve been known to flare our nostrils in disdain from time to time ourselves.

*Yes, we know that’s not his dry-cleaning.

    Perhaps I don’t understand “2nd lead”??? He is the star of the show. The actor that plays Peter is wonderful, heck, the whole cast is wonderful (Willie Garson “Mozzie”, love him), but Matt is the star. JMHO

      I always thought he’s the lead too… the star. Like the rest of the cast too. Great chemistry between Neal and Peter as well as Matt and Tim.
      And what’s this about Matt keeping his disdain and haughtiness. He’s one of the nicest celebs around. Not nice.

  He was first described to me as “The most handsome man ever” by an extremely straight guy. He was correct and White Collar is now one of my favorite shows. Not just because of Matt Bomer, but because it’s also a great show.

For reals?I do find him attractive, and yet he looks like he actually got up a whole hour early and tried on different coats/scarves/over-the-shoulder-bags before realizing that he was now running late — and then he pressed his jeans, grabbed is “on air” outfit, and ran out the door.

  Don’t jeans from the cleaners always have creases? Ironically his on-air outfit was pretty much what he’s wearing. I don’t recall the slacks but he had on the brown coat and those shoes. He did have on a nice vest and tie -but he may have that on here too.

Oh yes please!! I cannot wait for Magic Mike!!! As for his haughty disdain, I’ve seen too many shots of him smiling and grinning with the paparrazi to think he really means it. Even his appearance on the today show he seemed so thankful to be there and wanted to shake everyone’s hand.
I do find it really really odd that he doesn’t have a garment bag for his clothes.

No idea who he is but he looks good. Love the shoes. And it’s nice to see the shoes because my husband just overhauled his work wardrobe for a new job and got very similar ones, in brown and black. I helped with the clothes (thank you Banana Republic) but I left him to get the shoes on his own. He said as far as he could gather those were the “in” thing and I guess he was right! (I work from home now so I know nothing anymore about appropriate office attire.)

The gods of good genes have certainly smiled down on Matty. Plus, he’s a southern boy, so he has very nice manners in interviews, and he’s a son of Texas, so he actually knew how to handle that shotgun in Season 1 of White Collar.

I love seeing him in photos, because he seems almost incapable of taking a bad picture, and he can wear just about anything well. Including a big purple scarf.

He looks as insanely good as he always looks. I don’t usually like men who are that pretty, but there’s something extra special about him. Maybe it’s the twinkle in his eyes.

I have to tell y’all this, because you’re the only ones who will appreciate it. A few weeks ago, I was watching something on USA, when a commercial for the new season of White Collar came on. His character says “we’ll give them something to look at”. Then there’s scene after scene of Bomer being gorgeous, while a bunch of comments about him flashed on the screen. And they used a comment that I made about him, right here on this very board, a couple months ago. I saw my screen name and had to rewind to be sure. I almost fell out of my chair.

That’s, sadly, probably the closest I’ll ever get to Matt Bomer.

I got all excited over the colors just from the thumbnail. I love a deep purple and I think it’s really underused in general, but especially for men. Also, I dig the whimsy of the pocket square, which is an eerily good match for the wash on his jeans.

Man, Matt Bomer is my current favorite flavor of awesome. It’s not just the looks (though, DAYUM). He’s a good actor, and when he speaks in interviews, he comes off as intelligent and well-spoken. And he seems to understand, like some actors don’t, that when you’re heading up a show, you’re responsible for a whole lot of people’s work lives. I completely respect that. Too many actors–*cough*CharlieSheen*cough*–are way too flaky about whether or not they’re currently “feeling” a part, and don’t seem to understand that if they flake out and the show tanks, people lose their livelihoods.
