I’m going to buy the ugliest pair of men’s pants I can find at the discount store to give him and try my damndest to keep a straight face when he looks at me like I’m crazy and asks if I’m serious. This photo set is a disaster! He’s a fantastic actor but the boy is no model. And it’s nothing about his looks (I think he’s sexy as all Hell) it’s not knowing how to hold himself in front of a still camera.

He’s not model-pretty. Which I find sexy along with his on screen presence and attitude. That voice. There is something about him acting that is magnetic. He looks great in the clothes of Boardwalk Empire which, obviously, are tailor made for him to wear on set. Where he knows exactly what he’s going to do and where clothes, props and emotions serve a story purpose.

None of that prepares him as a print fashion model though. He looks lost here. This is a great example of why every charismatic actor does not a fashion model make.

I love the lineart print on that button-down, but these pictures mostly just look odd to me. I guess it’s a bouquet, but the first picture looks like he is holding a handful of paper scraps while staring vacantly into space. He reminds mo of Chloe Grace Moretz and they both seem to make the same duckface for photographs (I have seen both in movies and they don’t have duckface there, so I know it isn’t just genetic).

The other thing is that this shoot seems like it was overseen by two competing sylists/creative directors. On one hand you have the slicked back, somewhat 50′s hair, fit of the clothes and the boxing posing and he seems to be tough, sexy and old school (or at least referring to that kind of a vibe). On the other hand, you have the shots that are all pouty, dandified, childish (not boyish) and even androgynous (especially the eyelids one at the end).
