    Not “funny ha-ha” though. Also, please notice the difference between the GQ cover and the covers of Glamour, Cosmo, etc. There are no articles telling men how to please their sexual partners. Or have Skype sex. Or how to touch her in ways that make her squeal like a pig! Or diet articles.

      As a reader of men’s mags, I would say part of that is which magazines you’re talking about. GQ compares more to Vogue and Harper’s Bazaar. While Details, Maxim, and Men’s Health are all more comparable to Glamour and Cosmo. Those lad mags do have the feel-bad-about-your-body and she’s-bored-in-bed articles.

  I know–but unfortunately I think it’s just one of those unfair truths. I think of all the good looking famous actors (or musicians) in their 30s/40s/50s, and can’t think of one who I thought was better looking in their 20s. Not fair.

    Actually, popular wisdom aside, I like the way most women look better as they get older as well. Their faces become more distinctive – more their own – and less just an appealing conglomeration of good bones and skin. Going back and watching early Project Runway, forex, I think Heidi’s face is becoming her own very nicely now, whereas she looked a lot more generic – pretty, but generic – before.

  Appears to me to be airbrushed in the pic. In the video (at :56), while the jeans are still quite tight, the crotch area seems to have a scad more room and no apparent rightward…er…uhm…directional…well, seems to be contained downward….(I’ll stop here)

  He looks really good in these photos but his red carpet photos, with no Photoshop, special lighting, just-so tailored clothes, are a whole ‘nother story. And I saw him in Jane Eyre and thought he was a big snooze (though to be fair, Mia Whasserface came across as if she were drugged, so that had to be hard to work with).

He really is delicious. He’s just so…authentic looking. Actually rugged (and not pretend rugged) and effortless and broken in. He’s just so sexy, and one of the best things about the new X-Men movie. I haven’t found an American actor half as appealing as I’ve found him lately. They all seem to be so pretty, and he’s the opposite of that.
