Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon for GQ Magazine

Normally, we’d probably run screaming from the idea of these two paired in one editorial. We suppose they each have their charms, but we’ve never really been the audience for either of them and, at the risk of sounding cranky (HAHA! I KNOW, RIGHT?), we tend to find them both a little irritating.

But we should just shut our whore mouths every once in a while because our initial impression about the idea was clearly wrong. This spread is HILARIOUS. Kudos to them both for having so much fun with it.

And the clothes aren’t bad either.

I think Jimmy Fallon is hilarious and his musician impersonations are astonishing (Whip my Hair – Neil Young? Genius!). This is a fun photo shoot despite the douche canoe he’s posing with.

  A few months ago I would’ve agreed with you. However, he did remain true to his word and went to the Marine Corp Ball this past weekend and wrote a very nice recap of the evening on his website. As the daughter of a Marine and a staunch supporter of all of our soldiers, I couldn’t help but appreciate that effort. He went up a couple of notches in my book.

What I find particularly appealing are the occasional homages to old hollywood duos. The sailor suit shot evokes Gene Kelly/Frank Sinatra. A couple of the shots (ie the mannequin) remind me of Martin & Lewis. The 2nd shots makes me think of Abbot of Costello

I think they should host the Oscars now that Eddie Murphy bailed. Billy Crystal? Great idea– when they 1st thought of it 25 years ago.Timberlake & Fallon’s SNL skit as the Gibb Brothers is the funniest thing on SNL (besides Bill Hader’s “Stefan” who deserves his own movie IMHO) in years.

Come on! Look at those adorable kids–how could anyone not love them? This editorial is cheeky and fun. I adore a man who doesn’t take himself too seriously. I mean, compare and contrast: Jimmy/JT versus Donald Trump. Jimmy/JT, Donald Trump.

Just a technical note: I find the halos that surround them in all the photos to be a little disorienting.

Timberlake is such a weenis, but Jimmy Fallon is the (older) little brother I wish I had. I was never a fan when he was on SNL but started watching Late Night when I had my baby and he grew on me immediately. He’s always himself, always humble, and always a total dork- and I have excellent radar for ‘fake dork for endearing’s sake’, *cough AnneHathaway*. (Kind of a hottie too, now that I’m looking at these pics….) This is a fun spread. Would’ve loved it w/someone besides Captain Ego.

The most likable I’ve ever seen Timberlake is as a guest on Fallon’s show. And while it’s kind of like watching your brother & his friends (that is, they’re funny but not as funny to you as they are to each other,) it casts a mild benign glow over both of them in my mind.

More to the point, isn’t AMAZING how a nice suit can improve the most average of men?

Hope the narrow tie & tie bar are back. I like that look & it’s hard to mess up.

JT’s eyes always give his narcissism away – always straight into the camera, always searching for your reaction to his adorableness, always so self-conscious and a little desperate. Do not get me started on his “acting” skills. He is not a pro at all, but an attention-seeking minor entity. Jimmy Fallon, however, is the real article. He’s witty, honest-to-GOD good-looking and genuine.
And he looks killer in great clothes.
