In or Out: Michelle Williams in Oscar de la Renta
We should hate this look. Are you a devoted minion? Then you can figure out why.

Time’s up. Put your pencils down, class. The reason we should hate this look is because it represents one of T Lo’s biggest red carpet complaints: outfits that match the skin and/or hair of the wearer just a bit too closely. Especially on pale girls like Michelle, the effect can be ghostly and a little disturbing. Bear in mind, however, that we said we should hate this look. Because we don’t. We think she manages to pull it off and come off looking sweet, sexy, and sophisticated. Part of the reason it works is the shape – if this exact textile had been used to make a flowy gown, we probably would have hated it – and the texture, which highlights her shape and picks up just enough light to prevent it from becoming a skin dress. In addition, her makeup looks fantastic. Those slightly bronzey highlights play well off her hair and the dress. Also, killer shoes. No, darlings. We should hate this, but we actually love it quite a bit. You are free to disagree, but be aware that we will judge you harshly if you do.
IN! Shimmery movie star!
OUT! Nope. She’s still twee as fuck.
In yesterday’s bitchy news, Laura Dern’s sassy jacket and leather dress got an IN from a lot of gals who seemed to want to own her outfit and Felicity Jones got an OUT because no one wanted to wear her outfit.
