What a cute duct tape dress! OUT.

I kind of like it. And I think I like the skirt most of all. On the other hand I wore boots I’d covered in red duct tape for years, so I may be appreciating the skirt’s electrical tape-ness.

sorry t, i’m team lo here ~ IN. it could be twee, prim, and/or secretarial, but the modern textiles keep it firmly in the territory of cool. and i like the choice if hair, makeup, and accessories bc they all add to the blade runner admin asst feel without competing. it’s working and so is she.

It’s a great look for the gal who has a whole pile of meat to butcher before 5 but still wants to feel pretty and feminine on top.

Out. Kinda hate everything about this.

The look makes sense on the model, it’s a high concept arty look that only makes sense on an extreme looking person. 
Brought to the level of red carpet ordinariness it just looks bizarre and off.

OUT.  It looks like the hotly debated winning look in a PR unconventional materials challenge.  Either that or the hotly debated look that got the auf.

I’m of two minds about this look: But then this look is of two minds all on its’ own. It’s sort of like for the prissy girl who wants to dip her toe in the slutty pool but can’t quite commit. I like the collar on the sweater, but what is with the nipple eyepatch?

Then again, I’ve heard that a lot of librarians are into S&M these days.

I think Diane Kruger could have pulled this off, but I don’t think Felicity has the height to carry this outfit. Lowercase out.

I don’t know who she is but I think she looks cute in this–not sexy secretary but funky and young.

Weak IN. The skirt is too long on her, so you can really see how stiff it is, and I don’t like the accidental shininess. Still, the hair and makeup are great and it’s a really cute look.

I can sign off on everything but the skirt, which just looks too heavy.

Yikes ! There’s another one. I thought this was Katy Perry or Zooey Deschanel. I like the look (except for the breast pocket). In.

Well I thought it was IN until I read Tom’s thoughts and now I’m leaning towards OUT. It is bulky on her. Yet still kinda cute. Maybe IN?

She’s got a small enough figure that she can pull off all those horizontal stripes, and the look stands out without being complete wackadoo. IN.

I can see why people wouldn’t like it, but I do, it is fresh, different, but not bizarre or unflattering.

I agree – this dress is not for mere mortals with normal bodies.  She looks dumpy on top and weirdly huge on the bottom and now that I read the electrical tape reference, I can’t NOT see it.  Plus the boobie leather pocket really doesn’t help.  OUT.

I like it, actually, but I would like it better if the silhouette on the skirt were less A-line–like how it is on the model. They should have altered it. I do think they could have still had an impact using the same blouse, which I unequivocally love, with a different skirt. So I’m going with OUT, I guess.

Barely out. She does look good, and she looks happy to be wearing… this. But it’s prim and ugly. And fussy. And weirdly oily looking. The more I look at it, the more I hate it, basically.

Out-but only if I can declare Proenza Schouler out instead of …uhm, who the hell is this girl? At any rate, skirt is clearly not designed for anyone to wear off of the runway and it looks more weird than edgy or innovative. I do like the top half ok.

OUT. Fine from the waist up, but the skirt reminds me of that quicky Halloween costume that you can make with a trash bag and yellow duct tape and voila, you got yourself a bumblebee.

Well, we can see who is the Good Cop and who is the Bad Cop at the T Lo household, can’t we? I agree with you both. Geez, this one is hard to judge because I’ll look at it and hate something, then look at it again and love something. If the skirt wasn’t so vinyl-looking and shiny the outfit would be IN. As it is, I can’t decide and will waste the day wondering “is it that bad? But is it that good?” As if I don’t have enough things to waste time on!

No. This looks like what happens when they run that annual “wear duct tape to prom” challenge.

I love this, start to finish. Unique but still referential, and suits her perfectly. IN, and I don’t give a damn what the other prissy madames who comment here think.

I agree with Tom 100%. OUT The skirt is stiff, ugly and makes her look fat. And is too long too. And I hate the shirt.

I was going to try and be generous by saying I liked it from the waist up, then I noticed that her breast tumor was shiny. I just can’t. If that skirt were in a matte fabric I would wear it to death, and I am not a size zero (but I can hit six feet in moderate heels). That blouse looks like a disastrous Jr. High Home Ec project.

My son’s on an Odyssey of the Mind team.  They LOVE making things out of duct tape.  This will serve as a nice inspiration piece for them.  OUT.

I think it’s sort of cute, but women’s shirts should never ever have a tiny boob pocket.  That and the stiffness of the skirt dip into OUT territory for me.

As almost always, I am in Tom’s camp.

The look is so overwhelmingly bottom-heavy, and it makes her tiny little self look clunky & awkward.

And it is neither pretty nor elegant and I just can’t *quite* squint hard enough to find chic.
