Photos are amazing but they should carry the disclaimer of “do not attempt this look at home, this can only be achieved by trained professionals in 17 different specialties”. I sense a far more than usual amount of interventions.

The raincoat is OK but I love the shoes in the model’s photo. Although wearing them in the rain would probably not be terribly practical.

I will never get the “I will suck every cock someone puts in front of me/my lower set of lips is as open and inviting as the upper set” fish/duck/trout-mouth pose. Overdone, unimaginative, boredom inducing, pseudo-sexy. I understand this on the cover of a magazine aimed at men – but on women’s magazines? There are 1000 ways to go for seductive & sexy – this is the laziest.

  I used to visit Germany with some frequency about 12 years ago, and there was some pretty blatant advertising themes especially on posters in the Munich transportation kiosks that were all open-ish mouths, licking lips, come-hither looks, including some schmutz dabbled on the model’s lips that was “supposed to be” a reflection or moisture or something, but which could hardly be mistaken for anything other than — ewwww. It always outraged me. Very German male pandering and domineering.

  Oh – don’t ask. “Denglish” is the term we use. Or “Anglizismen” if we want to appear educated. We just think english is cool. So a lot of slogans in advertisement/fashion/media are english or denglisch. And we adopted a lot of english internet-related words like download or upgrade and then have fun conjugating/declining them as if they were german words. Or we kidnap your words and use them for something else like “Handy” (mobile phone) – we really have no shame when it comes to english.
  
  Also: “Juwelen” is used in German. It actually means jewels – and is also used for expensive jewelry with actual jewels/gemstones – or more ironically for cheap department store jewelry with a lot of bling.

Oh, Christ, her lips are bizarre. She looks like that woman who’s trying to turn herself into a cat (I’m not sure why the woman who’s trying to turn herself into a cat considers puffy lips to be cat-like, but she does, so… there you are. She just looks really vapid to me. The coat picture looks stupid (what the hell kind of contorted pose is that?)–I like the coat itself, but showing the good china to me doesn’t go with the attitude the coat conveys. The second picture is a decent ‘model’ shot (giving Jayne Mansfield face at best IMO), and the angle of her face in the last one makes her face look very odd.
