  The color looks gorgeous on the model but it doesn’t suit Blake’s skin tone and hair color. Also the model was styled better and appears to have more hip. Whereas Blake is styled poorly and since she has no hip, the pants just go straight-down, like uniform pants.

It would fit better if she’d put her shoulders back and stand up straight. The way she’s all slumped makes the lapels bunch badly around where she’s got it taped to her chest. It wouldn’t stop this from looking like a uniform but it would certainly help the overall effect.

She looks depressed. Maybe she’s still feeling shame for wearing those fringed fish. Or maybe she exhausted herself arching her back to put those fish out there beyond the fringe. Perhaps a few days off to refresh and ponder her fashion choices would help.

    It absolutely does, but I think that’s her default position. She’s like a young Heidi, she’s never seen a skirt too short or a top too boobtacular. This pantsuit is surprisingly low key for her, actually, she’s usually much more naked than this. Even yesterday’s fringe disaster was more modest than her usual efforts, if you can call fringe pouring from your good china modest. So yeah, she’s gonna be busting out of this no matter what, but if she stood up straight at least the lapels wouldn’t look like they’re superglued to her chest. And let’s all thank a deity for superglue/powerful boob tape, shall we? It saves me from gouging out my eyes so often…

The pants and the jacket had an easier, more chic look on the model. The pants and jacket seems strained on Lively. As a concession to real life, they appear to have added a second button to the jacket. This seems partly responsible for the jacket pulling (and perhaps also her more ample chest). I know I am thinking outside the box here, but a wacky, alternative concession might have been a shirt.

It’s a simple outfit that depends on its color and lines. GET IT TAILORED TO FIT. So, I don’t know why you must share your cleavage with us all the time as if you were a nobody who’d never worked in a union production and were hoping someone would notice you. But IF you must, get the darn thing altered so it doesn’t pull where it buttons.
