Darlings, let’s all jet off to London tonight for some nouveau-Victorian fabulosity.
The Blue Bar at The Berkeley in Knightsbridge, London.
Although, truth be told, we’re loving this bar because the chairs look so comfy.
Tonight’s guest judge is Francisco Costa, Women’s Creative Director of Calvin Klein Collection. He’s been on the show before and gave good critiques, but he wasn’t exactly a firecracker. Still, it’s nice to have an actual designer in the chair.

Final SIX, bitches! Can you stand it? Also, can you stand another half-hour of Project Runway-related programming? Because Lifetime’s gonna give it to you whether you want it or not:
“To satisfy fan demand for more Runway — Lifetime has ordered four half-hour episodes of After the Runway, an all-new companion series to the network’s Emmy® Award nominated unscripted program Project Runway. Giving viewers additional commentary and insight into the hit show from its designers themselves, After the Runway will premiere this Thursday, October 6, 2011, at 10:30 PM ET/PT, immediately following Project Runway, and air for the remainder of its ninth season.
After the Runway, hosted by Marie Claire Senior Fashion Editor, Zanna Roberts Rossi, will have the exclusive first interview with each week’s eliminated designer and provide viewers a unique opportunity to go beyond the runway and hear first-hand what really goes on behind-the-scenes of Project Runway. The show will feature in-depth, roundtable debates, and passionate discussions with Runway’s standout designers as they answer pressing questions about what happened both on and off the runway during that evening’s episode.”
Hmm. Zanna’s very sweet and that’s kind of the problem. We doubt she’s gonna nail these suckers to the wall like we would prefer to see. We envision a lot of softball questions and hand-holding when what we really want is someone to say “WHAT the HELL were you THINKING?!?”
Oh, jeez. We’re telling you, next season they will literally have to jump through flaming hoops.
Which leads us to our Question of the Week. We’ve said for many seasons now that we’d be all for the show re-using old challenges. Which classic Project Runway challenge would you like to see again?
For us, it’s either the grocery store challenge, the clothes off your back challenge, or the jet set challenge.
