Let’s all have a quick shot of fabulous while T Lo pulls together the Project Runway post so enraged commenters can vent their rage.

You go and get it, First Girl! That could not be better suited for her body and her coloring. Love that gorgeously rich shade of purple; love that belt, which is exactly the right size and in exactly the right place; love the draping; love the earrings; love the idea of the hair, if not the actual end product, which looks a little too sloppy for a First Lady. That last point is a really minor complaint, though, because the overall effect is stunning.

And First Girl has been working out!

I like First Lady Kim Yoon-ok as well. I think hanboks look gorgeous. I’ve always been a little jealous of people who can wear one. I especially like the delicacy of this one.

The hair is my favorite thing about the look. I feel like we’ve seen her in this dress before, or something very much like it (it’s fabulous, so that’s not a criticism), but the hair is unexpectedly glam and saucy for her. Way to mix it up!

She is getting excellent advice from someone. This beautiful look complements her personal style, her skin tone, her height, and her fitness. I would like to see the belt, cuff and earrings in a closeup; perfect accessorizing here, dramatic and very classy. The dress is a smashing color and design.

i’m not sure whether to believe the bit about the PR post ~ It could be a misdirection for another post like last week’s. because at this point, we really shouldn’t be shocked or enraged at what the producer’s do to get anya through… i’m sure even the commercials for next week’s episode, where miss beauty queen is sniveling over some “rule violation”, is just the producers trying to amp up the drama for her imevitable win. she could have a room full of malaysian kids sewing her garments during tim’s home visit and they’d still give her the win.

  I’ve been involved with a local International Folk Fair, for 40 years, where people of all nationalities wear their national costumes. The Americans were dressed either as Colonials–such as Martha Wasington, or (get this) American cowboys and square-dancers.

Just gorgeous. These photos reminds me of the line in To Wong Foo – Try to describe her and NOT use the word “statuesque”. I too love the belt but for me the defining accessory here is that fab gold cuff.

Agree with comments that she looks thinner/has lost some weight or something. I didn’t think she needed to do so, but she looks great. He also looks thinner, and REALLY didn’t need to lose anything….but I guess we know what’s going on there. Obviously not a stress eater. However, if I were President, I would weigh about 600 lbs. (ice cream, bring me ice cream!).

Michelle looks great in jewel tones. Purple can look tawdry on some people, but she wears it like royalty. Love it.

What I love even more is that she’s been convinced that her natural waist is just fine — not just fine, but better than cinching herself around her sternum. Please Mrs. O, keep the waist right there. It looks great.

I personally think she looks a little too informal and partied-up next to the Koreans. The Hanbok tends to be a bit formal and very covered, so Michelle looks like she’s exposing a tad too much skin next to her. That said, I do love the earrings, the belt not so much, and I cannot deny that she looks amazing. But I wish a little more consideration had been put into how she would look next to her hosts.
