This picture of Scarlett is freaking us out a little.

It’s not that she’s doing the same pose and face that she always does; that’s not freaking us out. It’s just boring us a little. No, it’s the way her eyes seem to have migrated to opposite sides of her head.

Honey, show this picture to every makeup artist you ever employ and tell them NOT to highlight the inner corners of your eyes that way.

  Her neck looks like Gumby. It’s got that strange lump on the side, and it’s about twice as long as normal. Remove her hands from it and I think her head would topple over onto her shoulder. Very weird.

Eep! What did they do to that gorgeous, gorgeous woman?! She doesn’t look like that in any movie or picture I’ve seen of her.

Edit: and her NECK! Necks don’t bend that way. I’ve seen them add length to a model’s neck before without making her look like E.T. BAD Photo-shoppers, BAD.

I don’t know, I kind of like it. I agree she should not appear this way anywhere else, but she is pretty overexposed and it seems like the choice to make her look a bit bizarre is not that surprising. I did recognize her, which is not always true of pics of her. I think it’s kind of cool that she looks like a snakewoman and is quoted with a prediction on the 2012 election!

  God, YES. I think they just created another inch or so at the top and relocated her head up. It makes her look like she has the mumps or something.

Didn’t notice it til I read your comment but you’re right… it’s a little freaky. This is why I NEVER do liner on the inner corner of my eyes… The angle also makes her nose disappear… it’s like she’s Voldemort with hair… FREAKY!

Her nose looks really weird too – like it’s a solid block, with the width of the bridge being the same as the width where her nostrils are.

I’d like to trust that T Lo are right, that it’s the makeup, but I think it’s the light on the right side of her head (the left on the picture) or that some editorial gnome shaved off volume off that side of her head, that is the problem.

Or that she’s fish-eyed. Is she fish-eyed? I don’t want to have to research this, sheesh.
