I was never particularly pro Mr Owen until I bumped into him at a screening during a Buster Keaton season at the City of London’s Barbican Art Centre. Anyone who loves Buster is okay by me!

He was also bloody good in Spike Lee’s Inside Man with Denzel Washington. Great movie!

Not loving it. I prefer Jon Hamm in the “bored with a hot lady” role– he has a more mysterious bored expression than Mr. Owen here. She, however, is kinda fierce and is kinda stealing the spotlight in my eyes– except for in the last picture.

  I agree. Everyone seems to be so crazy about this layout but I’ve seen him looking WAY better. He looks mushy and puffy and average in the 4th shot. True, even bloated, he’s better than most, but this is not his best look.

You know, I’m not even entirely convinced they were both shot at the same time. There’s no interaction and any one of those images could be a photoshop paste. There’s only three where they’re touching rather than overlapping. Two look like contenders for a head paste (especially as 6’2″ Owen looks a bit short even next to a tall model in heels) and in the other, the one that makes me suspicious, he has his back turned. Now, do you really have a well known actor in a shoot and photograph the back of his head?
